I don't know what's the big deal with TMTTH!
It's a good track, probably in the top 3 best on the album, but still it's not that much of an epic song.
For me it hasn't got much re-playability, like Warrior's Dance or Thunder, and here people are reviewing it as the best thing Liam wrote, which is faaar from the truth.
Silly vocals and annoying synths don't make an epic song..... (the second half of the song is marvelous, or maybe it's because there are none of those vocals )

yea this tune hasn't got blasting beats of SMBU or hurricane feeling of firestarter, but it's got it's whole different special vibe, what crawls deep inside you and then culminates with a strong beautiful emotion. "it's like a drug" © Electronic_Punk®

i'd liked to write some of my thoughts after 8 days with IMD. but i found this forum very orthodox. so i won't post a word of critic.

ok, my review from start to end:

The Album starts with the weakest Track of the record. I don't like the cheesy synths at all. The Intro and Outro of IMD are good though.

"Omen" is great! I was surprised about the "new" Album-Version and think it's a bit better than the Edit/Video-Version.

Right after the that "Thunder" just blown me away. I love the strange vocal sample and the powerful drivin' beats. The Intro is awsome!

"Colours" is a big surprise! When I heard the 30sec-Snippets I thought this would be the weakest track of the record besides "Invaders must die". Keiths Vocals are perfect for this Tune and I love the fact that it grows everytime I hear it. Catchy!!!

I knew "take me to the hospital" from the Youtube-Videos (shot at the Academy-Tour). So I knew, what I had to expect and the "Wow"-Effect was gone. I was just a bit disappointed about the Vocals. The Energy of this tune is just brilliant though. The Synth-Part in the middle of the song gives me goosebumbs everytime I hear it. Classic tune which probably ends up in every Live-Set they'll play in the future.

"Warriors Dance" is my favorite Track of the Record. The Horns, the Vocal-Sample, this magic synths near the end and all this little things between that are just phenomenal and get me every time! Best Track of the record.

"Run with the wolves" is a great banger. Nothing less but nothing more either. I'm excited to see all the Rockers reactions at the festivals.

I don't get that much into "Omen Reprise" like others here. It's a good Interlude but don't give me goosebumbs or something like that.

When I first heard "Worlds on fire" at the T in the Park Pro Shot I was blown away. Everything on this tune seemed just powerful. I don't understand why Liam changed it and made something like a Remix of it. The Live-Version (played at the Festivals 2008) was a 10 out of 10 for me!
So I was truely disappointed! Don't get me wrong. It's still a great track with much energy but can not compete with the mentioned Live/Demo-Version.

"Piranha" is like "RWTW" for me. A banger which is great at some moments but a lowlight compared to the other Tracks on this Album.

"Stand up" is weird in a good way. It doesn't sound like Prodigy at all. I like the vision of playing this song at the end of the Live-Gigs. It's a good way to end a Prodigy-Concert because it's a good way to calm down a bit.



Overall: In it's entirely "IMD" could probably beat FOTL. Time will tell. But not one track can reach Master-Pieces like "SMBU", "Breathe", "Their Law", "Voodoo People", etc.

In the end: I'm happy with the Record. Some classic Stuff on it and I'm excited to hear this shit live.

I must tell you this.

I was in the little club in my town in Poland last night.

They often play classic electro tunes, sort of good music every night.
I was rockin to michael jackson.... and then, i heard invaders must die! ;] This is fuckin amazing tune at the party! Everybody was sick about it. Lots of people was shouting "invaders must diee!" with me. Crazy tune for parties...

yea man.. imd is a specific tune, cos it has a little bit of hidden magic inside.. it explodes while played live. u r surrounded by people, and u suddenly realise how much energy is cumulated inside this track - i had the same at IMD party 2 weeks ago. everybody simply went mental for this track, dance like crazy and shouted WEARETHEPRODIGY as well as 'inv.must die!'
even those people who used to put heavy critics on this track and ranked it 2/10 before .. yea, all of them dancing.. what a nice view

oh come on, IMD is just perfect!

Just listened to the album for the first time yesterday so that's why I'm posting this so late

I think my favourite is probably WOF, tho I prefer the version that was played live.

I also much prefer the live version of WD to the one on the album, and the whistle at the end kills it a tiny bit for me tbh... hopefully that bit won't be on the single. Don't get me wrong, I think that the track is amazing, it's just that I possibly prefer Molotov's version.

Other standouts for me: Thunder, TMTTH, Omen Reprise, Run

And I would add Omen but the edit is much much better imo (cos of the beats)
