Ha ha, this thread really does show that there are some people on here that would think a recording of Liam throwing a pig down the stairs would be "genius" and that anyone that disagreed would be a "hater". Fighter beat is absolutely terrible, but i wouldnt moan too much if I were you. If the lost beats gets as bad a reception as i fear, then why on earth would Liam ever release any of the other songs such as Comanche, Mescaline and Gabba?. Im glad Ive heard the tracks, even though they are pony.

Well, only about 5 or 6 people have said they "like" them, or at least they like Black Smoke.. Nobody said anything about it being a stroke of Genius did they?

Nobody has been giving people shit about hating on it have they? or been called "haters"

Nah, the majority of people have said they were dissapointed with it, and no-ones been slagged off for hating it yet (although there was an idiot comment a couple of pages ago. I think maybe even a gonk lol. I refuse to believe anyone could like those tracks, and anyone that said they do are either lying or trying VERY hard to like them by finding other reasons to (its nice to hear Liam doing something futuristic/different etc.)

The haters thing isnt really relevent in this thread, but is prominent throughout this site. Try starting a new thread saying that you don't think the new album is all that great :-)

let's remember first description of Lost Beats : "umh, im gona but some leftover bits and peaces there.... "

this band is Prodigy what we are dealing here, it comes as bonus cd afterall. we are just hoping too much. would you be happier without these tracks?

i really woun't be suprised if we won't see mescaline and DKB, cause they put main effort in live gigs and it's honest that there has to be something special heard in there.

basicly i think these 2 tracks are interesting, by far not something special, but still kinda cool

well yeah the "futuristic" thing came from me and me alone.. maybe it was a stretch. I wasn't saying the track is kickass, and I'm not lying to myself or anyone else here in saying I like it. I don't love it. I don't hate it. I like Black Smoke more. But hey.. It's all good. If we all liked the same shit we might as well all dress the same and eat the same food. Wouldn't that be boring!?

respect for having the guts to post something you have made to challenge a track by Liam. But sorry you loose.. :)

That said.. You tune wasnt bad. I liked the slow and loose drumbeat. The synthlines was to simple and beginner-ish.. But a good track for a home-made track.

(ps: mastering wont change a track.. just give the track more punch and better soundimpact)

I've got no problem at all with people having different tastes in prodigy music. To be honest I probably listen to the B sides off the first album more than anything else from the prodigy and i doubt there are many people that do that. Black smoke isnt AWFUL, but Fighter beat is. End of
