Just saw this new chems vid for the first time, :woops:

I cant get over how awful they are compared to the 90's, the chems have lost it - what happened to them! they sound so commercial now.

Compare this vid (Midnight Madness) to Loops Of Fury and Setting Sun, i prefer their darker stuff, this sounds like cheesy disco music and the video holy shit thats horrible.

the prodigy's new album pisses all over We Are The Night
its really sad loved them back in the day.

I still can't believe they released this track but they didn't release all rights reserved as a single lol...

I like We are the Night tbh, not as much as their other albums tho

Even their worst stuff is at least interesting to me. I just like the feeling I get... it's just simple fun with We Are The Night. I'm not taking that album seriously, so it's just fine. Just like Midnight Madness. :)

i like We Are The Night

love Dig Your Own Hole and Surrender!

Exit Planet Dust has some great moments

Come With Us was ok, kinda grew on me. but this was the last non-digital sounding album they put out i feel.

Push The Button and We Are The Night sound very digital to me.
hate Push The Button, but i really like We Are The Night

thought Keep Your Composure was pretty good, kinda like the Heroes version better...
but Midnight Madness is cheap sounding garbage.

but Chems do have some great b-sides as well...
well not really lately, but back in the day they did

All artists run out of ideas
Chem bros are AMAZING.. all of their tracks are pro. Although their last two albums don't have the re-playability of the others....

Can't expect artists to be confined to the same era forever. I think a lot of it may be our expectations of future albums...

But then you'd have no Star Guitar or The Test :o

I like the variation of sounds they have tbh (as I do for The Prodigy, except to a lesser extent)

Agreed, Laurie.

My problem with chem bros is that I'm not sure we'll ever hear another "The Test" ever again from them.... some of my favorite songs from chem bros are completely in a different direction from where they are going. I feel with the last album they tried to go too crazy with sound engineering.. wasn't a whole lot of melody.

With push the button they definitely tried to push an abnormal sound. Definitely some crazy stuff in there. Some nice melodies and calming songs as well. Lacks the grittiness, though

It is truth that they stopped writing tracks like 90's. "All Rights Reversed" is the only track from "We are the night" that can included to a real best of. I hope IMD wake them up and their upcoming album is much better than the last one.

I wouldn´t say that this track here is commercial , but it´s still boring like the most tracks of the last 2 albums. Only 2 - 3 good tracks, the rest was shite.

Never heard this before, but don´t need to listen to it again...

Video is nice done [FX I mean], but it´s shite, too...

I only like their first 3 albums. after that it's a bit poppy and silly.
