Best game ever created, had a badass sound track, an amazing concept and it had monkeys in it, what more do you want in a game?

Altered beast, Shinobi, alex the kid.

Those were the kind of games I grew up with. Can't beat them.

My favourite console of all time is still the N64. Through super production something has been lost in modern videogames. I just can't seem to play a game now without thinking I've been there before. The magic isn't there anymore!

Played through Alex Kidd in Miracle World just the other day. Still remembered most of the Rock/Paper/Scissors parts!

And I know what you're saying about "feeling like you've been there before" thats why I find myself gravitating towards weird and obscure games these days...

Personally I believe as games become more "realistic" it doesn't require us to use our imaginations as much anymore. Though.. I don't think this is always the case. But when people crap on more about how many polygons "this" game is running compared to "that" game... then, I just think they are missing the point.

I think it's an age thing as well you know? Videogames are like a drug. You always remember the first game you totally adored and you strive to get that feeling again. But sadly it's never going to happen .

I think I love playing the games I played as a kid because it just brings back good memories. Whenever I hear the music of a game I haven't played in years, I just get well excited.
