it will take place on 13th , 14th & 15th June

Slipknot and Metallica are Download whores.....always there.

They havent released what days these are headlining though so maybe Slipknot will headline one day and The Prodigy headlining another with support from Pendulum. They best not be shoved in the tent as they were a few years ago.....they need the main stage.

Even though they where the best thing about Download 2006....way better than Axl Rose by far!!! I didnt even bother with GNR's after i had come out of the tent. Had a quick look and Axl was doing a cover of some girly pop song so thought f**k that and what to the aftershock nightclub tent and danced the night away. (Yes they played some Prodigy in there too)

slipknot have said there headlining on the saturday
so prodigy wont headline as thats the only day they have on that w/e
due to playing isle of wight on the friday and somewhere else the sunday
also they wont be shoved in a tent as the second stage is outdoor now
cos if you check out the layout now its not on the same place on the site anymore

slipknot arent download whores thye have only played twice since 2003 when the festival started they played '04 and '05
same as metallica they have only played '04 and '06

cool news! saw them at Download 2006 when they played heatwave!!

yes iw as there aswell was very good to hear heatwave and i got to shake maxims hand when he jumped of stage singing smack my bitch up
