To the rest of you that went to UMF, did the crowd suck where you were standing too?

I've been going to prodigy shows for 12 fucking years, but I've never been in a lamer crowd than this...and I was almost all the way up front.

Some retard next to me was just standing there with his arms crossed...and right behind me was a guy in a fucking wheel chair!!! I'm all for disable people being treated as everyone else, but there are just some things they cannot do...like being in the fucking mosh pit at a prodigy show. My theory is that people from Miami are on constant diets and do not have the energy to rock out...the chicks don't want their fake tits to start sagging and the steroid guys are just to heavy to be able to jump...hehe

And the majority of the crowd was clearly just casual fans (like one should expect at festivals) ...only tracks the people around me knew were Voodoo People, Breathe, SMBU and Out Of Space...when I started rocking to Comanche people thought I was crazy....

I talked to Pinky after the show and the crowd was lame where he was standing too.

The show itself was great though, despite a sub par sound quality and an hour delay or so.

Comanche might be my favorite live track now :D

Firestarter they can just skip now...RWTW is played right after and sounds way fresher.

No Thunder?!?!?! Either they weren't happy with the crowd reaction in NY, or they didn't have time to play it.

Here's Flinty!!!

haha, this should've been in the other thread

I rocked hard was I found some space in the back. I hear they almost missed the show, that's probably why they were late. What a let down for them to come out late and then have thousands of weak ass people just stare and them and stand there.

Im hearing a lot of comments already that they were "boring" psshh fucking wankers.

After ripping the roof off of Roseland in New York City, The Prodigy, who are riding on their new album, Invaders Must Die, flew down to perform at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Bad weather and flight delays almost caused the revered UK band to miss the gig—something that kingpin Liam Howlett almost wishes had happened. “It didn’t really float my boat, “Howlett tells Big Shot. “We’ve done [Ultra] before, and I really don’t like it.”

Keith Flint had a different take on the show. “It was wicked,” he told Big Shot. “I didn’t see much of the festival. We got delayed coming in from New York, and we went straight onto the stage from the airport. That mission to get onstage is always exciting, especially when it’s a banging show. Miami rocks—they love their dance music. We banged it and it rocked.”

Nonetheless, Howlett says he isn’t planning to rush back to Ultra—or Miami—in the near future. “It’s not my type of thing, you know? We’ve done [Ultra] before. I don’t really enjoy it. I didn’t think the crowd was very good. It was very flat. It’s meant to be like a rave or a party, but it was the most unresponsive crowd I’ve ever seen. It was, like, dead. [Miami] is filled with holidaymakers that time of year, innit? I could have a better party in my living room. It was, like, nothing. I was like, c’mon, c’mon…what the fuck are we doing? You can print me saying this. I don’t give a shit.”
