I knew about the general negative opinion, but seeing so many people choose Fuel My Fire as the track to skip from TFOTL, made me wonder what's wrong with it. Is it beacuse it's a cover?
When I first heard TFOTL, it was my third favourite track besides Breathe and Smack My Bitch Up (obviously I've been bored by Firestarter at that point), and even though it's down to seventh nowadays, it's still a strong favourite. As far as covers go, this is one of the best I've heard (better than the original), and also it is The Profigy's best cover.
If it was so bad, would they have kept playing it for 5 years after TFOTL was released, and also included it in TLTS as a live video?
For me it seems that a big part of the community decides that each album should have a scapegoat, and Fuel My Fire is the one from TFOTL.
Sorry, but people who diss Fuel My Fire, just fuel my fire

I LOVE FUEL MY FIRE!!!!!!!!!!
One of their strongest live track was it. I love the live video of it on Their Law dvd. it just sounds so evil, fast, furious. when I'm angry I can't miss this track. I turn up the volume and scream along with keith that yeah that knife in my back has fingerprints belong to you!
Especially love that Brixton stuff that keith keeps saying yea yea yea you motherfucking liar and yea yea yea you fucked up liar I just love that.

I choose to skip it because I think Serial Thrilla did it's job very well... The track is good but it feels as a filler to me. I used to listen to it a lot but now I just press next.

Nah gotta dissagree, listen to Keefs vocals as they sound really weak, he sounds like hes sucking on a sweet at the beggining, not strong enough and fades compared to the strength of the other tracks on that album

This is because it's female/male duet! You hearing two vocals singing same thing at same time!
Personally, it's worst track on album.

Easily worst track on the album. It's not Prodigy in style, obviously because it's a cover. Seeing as I like Prodigy over every other piece of music, then something not in Prodigy style is gonna drop way below in my tastes. So Fuel My Fire is by far the worst track on the album to me...

It's a fucking awful cover tacked on to the end after Firestarter went massive. XL obviously wanted more Keith tunes and Liam didn't have enough time to knock out anything decent so decided to stick Fuel My Fire on it along with Serial Thrilla, which was originally a Maxim tune afaik.
