Sure, but I bet you wouldnt eat the damn thing if it was 12 years old. Some tracks on IMD actually sound like FOTL2 (TMTTH, Thunder..etc) which is fine by me BUT I believe we should've left the man alone with the AONO direction he was taking and just let it evolve.

Colours is a good example of that. If he would've taken that route and just started making actual songs (opposed to the sample mayhem we all know him for), then we would have something entirely new and different. It obviously works if you put enough effort into it.

Girls was fucking monumental when it came out, pisses all over Warriors Dance for instance. Instead, we have this ''retro-but-not-really'' decent album while AONO had some really fresh gems (Hotride, Spitfire, Girls, Wake Up, Get Up Get Off) but wasnt finished, and it had none of this retro shit. But hey, thats just my opinion and I personally hate every 'experience' sound on this record.

The next album could hopefully be out in 2012, darker, lighter, I dont care, as long as it bangs the shit out of the previous one.

couldn't have said it better myself!

I'd rather wait a few years and have something completely different than a release next year and have what's left over from this album just modernised a bit.

Darker route would be cool though. Get back on the gear guys.

Just to add, the band are touring this album solid for the next two years.

i like imd as much as any other prodigy fan but i want to hear more darker tracks like mescaline and stab

i want an album that has that jilted-fat era edge with no female vocals or colabs

I think sometimes it is okay to go back to the kind of roots and recycle them again and I still like the new album, but you´re right: AONO was the most outstanding album prodigy [Liam] ever has done and that is meant positive. I love this album.

I don´t know, why Liam cancelled "mescaline" ??? In the time, where the new material of the album was released [Warriors Dance, Mescaline / Unstoppable, Beat 55] I was of the opinion that "Mescaline" was the best tune, "Beat 55" seems to be unfinished and "Warriors Dance" disappointed me a little bit....

Yeah I still think Mescaline is the best track out of the entire IMD era. I fucking love it! I wish it was on the album too. I think it should have been a 12 track album with Mescaline between Worlds On Fire and Piranha to split the Maxim tracks. I don't get why it wasn't on Lost Beats EP either, but maybe because Liam will release it as a b-side on a single. But if he doesn't then I will be mad and it'll be the best unreleased Prodigy track IMO. Please release it!...

Thats what i am hoping for considering Liam is loving Noisia and all the new darker sounding Breakbeat and Drum and Bass.

Plus in interviews he said that IMD is more of an up record, which has me hoping for a darker sound in the next album, i think "Mescaline" is a good example of that, anyone agree?

i'd love to hear some darker aggression in his music. it would be a plus so long as he doesn't muck it up "AGAIN!"...
