(If it comes though)

Got a lot of questions. What does this mean for their old tracks? Will they still be able to play old tracks live? One thing I know is they should get a lot of money for their new tunes appearing in movies, shows, commercals, and games now. Hope they own the rights to Warning.

Yes they will still be able to play all their old tracks live.

As the writer, Liam (and Keith/Maxim for any tracks they wrote lyrics for) will still get paid royalties for any sales/radio play/media use/etc of any of the tracks released on XL Recordings. The publishing rights of most of The Prodigy tracks released on XL Recordings are owned by EMI Virgin music.

So does that mean if they were to release a live cd containing old tracks (like Liam said they might include as a bonus with the next cd) they'd have to get permission from EMI Virgin music?

I would guess that at the time when Liam mentioned that bonus CD he was thinking they'd still be on XL.

I would also guess that if Ragged Flag wanted to release a live album of tracks where the original version of the track was published by EMI Virgin music they would possibly have to licence them from EMI Virgin music even though Liam wrote the originals.

DVD live sets would be cool..especially as it would be professional footage with top sound and pictures and not the amateur 'good' stuff we get.
*Not saying I don't appreciate what amateur stuff we get as it adds to the atmosphere of the gig..but would love more official stuff*

lol oh is it? that would be because of one of these reasons

1. Liam never updates it with private messages and puts up tracks so he got rid of it.

2. Liam can't afford to keep paying the web designers

3. They need to change everything that shows/says 'XL' and replace it with their new label.

these next reasons are HIGHLY UNLIKELY:

1. Liam is putting up heaps of unreleased and live tracks for the fans

2. They are creating an awesome new website to coinside with their new album's theme/style
