Full on mask Hysteria is a great album. Only thing negative about it is that the samples used are very obvious, like certain drumbeats are exactly the same as the song they've sampled, but still it's a classic album. Favourite track is Evapor8
Aren't Acen still about too? I see The Prodigy are friends with Acen on myspace. I loved Acen's 'Close your eyes' - great Jim Morrison sample, great beats, great vibe!

this is from an old interview I did with Mark.
Me : I've once heard of Altern 8 being defined as a competition with Prodigy. Surely you've seen their Out of Space video in which people say they take the piss with your outfits, and in recent years Liam Howlett himself has stated he feels that the rave scene deserved to die. Many fan as well as Mixmag said that he killed the rave in fact. What did you make of their supposed stab at you back then, and what do you make of his claim that the rave scene deserved to die?
Mark : I don't think they were taking the piss out of us at all. I think they were portaying the way the scene was at the time, and there were a fair few people who used to wear those white suits to raves just like there were loads who wore floppy hats in 89' . It's just a snapshot in time really, if someone did a video in '88 it would have smiley t-shirts in, but people took it that Prodigy were knocking us. If they were then thats up to them. As for Liam's opinions, everyones entitled to there own opinion and if he feels it should have died then fair do's, he seems to want to distance himself from what he was part of. To think he killed rave is just copying what Mixmag wrote, which was utter rubbish. The scene split as peoples tastes got narrower and narrower and the styles changed, that's all.
