I still love shooting in film. But I need to buy a new 35mm camera body soon. My old faithful eos300 died while shooting last cyclone flooding...I've been eyeing off a cheap eos30 on ebay.

Digital definitely has it's plus points, and always has that ultra clear sparkle to it.
However the look of film has a natural flaw and somewhat dirtiness to it which I can't quite figure out exactly what it is, but I'm obsessed with. It's not the noise, it's not the colour depth, it's not the contrast, but it's there. Know what I mean?

yeah defo.
a lot of ppl try to recreate it with digital also.
some of them (with more budget/skills) get it.
otherwise there's the shitty crowd who thinks they can do it in lightroom in 3clicks.
