The damn ebay seller who won't combine shipping charges on 3 shirts I bought from him. I'm sure as hell not paying £15 postage for 15 miles distance. He won't let me pick them up in person either.

Idiot.

I had a dream that all my teeth became loose and started falling out and the bleeding wouldn't stop. Then my teeth quickly grew back but started falling out again. Fuck man, ruined my morning.

I couldn't sleep at all last night. I've been up for 24 hours straight. And I'm not even tired.

I'm so gonna feel like shit at work tomorrow... :(

We got these toastie pocket things right, so you could put a sandwich in them then stick them in the toaster, but they're WAY too small to fit a sandwich in them! I was there trying to force it in for minutes and then all the fillings came out loose in the bag and it went all over the kitchen surfaces, so they went in the bin! I just had cheese on toast in the end.

I've used these before and they do actually work but they are a fucker to clean. But the toasted sandwich goodness that comes out of them is pure awesomeness 8-)

BEST. MORNING. EVER.

Well, not really, I just got sacked. Not 'made redundant', SACKED.

Apparently I've been suspected of thieving from the company for a while because returned stock has gone missing. Of course because I'm frontline in that area, I was the main suspect even though I've done nothing at all. Whether someone has pointed the finger at me or not, I don't know.

So I go in this morning to be confronted by the two directors who ask me into the boardroom for a chat. One brings out a list with missing items with dates, cost etc on them. The next five minutes consisted of me trying to defend myself against two people who are 100% convinced it's me.

I can't prove anything of course, so they demand I return my toolbag, uniform, mobile and other stuff I use daily within the next two days.

I'm now sitting at home typing this with;

a/ no job
b/ no chance of paying this months rent
c/ a mountain of other bills I haven't a clue how I'm going to pay.

Y'know what? The funny thing is I don't feel that bad. The last year of my life at my job consisted of broken promises about training and better pay (neither of which I received in this year's appraisal) and frankly, working my arse off for very little thanks or return.

In one of those 'life clarity' moments I've just realised that this is probably the push I needed for the last 2 years to get my life back on track. Sure it's gonna be hard, but I'm going to hand in my notice on my flat and move back to my parents in London. Of course this also means I'll be leaving a few friends behind, but London is my home and I love it there.

So the question really is; why am I typing this in the WAMT section? It's funny, but I feel strangely euphoric and I don't know why...

That fuckin sucks balls. That happened to me a few years ago too when i worked for a hifi shop. I couldn't prove i was innocent either and they never believed me.
It does smell of a cop out though as a way of not paying you a redundancy package.
But your liberated now. No more ties to the job. No more worries about what cunt is gonna fuck you over.

You can do what the fuck you want and answer to no one! Not many people have that pleasure these days :-D

Nice. I was made redundant about 4 months ago. My girlfriend as well. Im in marketing/advertising and this is the first thing every company cuts. I as well felt euphoric for the first month. The next month I was getting a bit aggravated. The third month I started to panic. 4th month is now behind me, had a breakdown since its really getting fucked up beyond all recognition. But, yesterday I received some good news since we got a relatively steady freelancing job and we're thinking about starting our own advertising agency.
Therefore, the rain wont last forever. Its a great opportunity to start something fresh.

Thanks for the support guys. I'm still in that 'thank FUCK it's over' sort of mood, although I know deep down that the next month is gonna be a complete bitch moneywise. I've got about £15 in my wallet for food, and that has to last for that whole length of time. I don't want to take any more money out of my bank than I have to right now! It's not that bad though, I reckon if I live on stuff like beans on toast with no frills I can just about manage it.
In some ways it's like being a student again; I don't have to get up at 7am each day either..

I've arranged with the estate agent that if I can't find the money for the last month's rent they're OK to take my deposit I paid at the start of the tenancy and use that. The bills will have to wait (and with a bit of luck) by the time they chase me for payment I'll be long gone, if you know what I mean... ;)

Out of curiosity I looked in my penny jar this morning and figure I've got about £30 in there too. Just need to take it to the local ASDA and get it changed in their machine.

Surprisingly, I've just found that I've got about £100 in my Paypal account that I'd forgotten all about so that'll be transferred into my bank account in the next few days too. So really it's not that bad after all. I've just got to minimise spending where ever I can.

I spoke to Mum and Dad earlier this morning and they're actually quite happy that that I asked if I can move back in to theirs. At the very least the 'rent' I used to pay them will be a lot cheaper than living where I am now. And I'm sure they'll be OK if I miss a few 'payments' here and there especially if I do some odd jobs round the house whilst I'm looking for a new job. Of course I won't have much access to the 'net, but I'm sure I can arrange something.

And finally I've gone through my stuff and realised quite a bit of it I can sell, rare old comics and stuff like that. Except my Prodigy collection, of course, that's coming home with me no matter what... ;)

When I finally do get back home, I'm gonna try and see if I can get a job back at the place I worked before I moved to Yarmouth. They liked me a lot there, so here's hoping, eh?

As for my old job gear like mobile and toolbag, I'm going to take it all back early tomorrow morning before anyone's in. I really don't want to speak to anyone in the office as I know it's gonna be a load of pisstaking, especially from the complete wankers that work in sales. Fuck 'em.
