Yo yo yo!!! New song "Vlad The Impailer" is available as a free download from the official website from today for 4 days. album is set to be released on 8th June 2009. Amazing deep bass and heavy beat is dominating. As you know Liam Howlett wants to do a remix of a new kasabian track and it might be "Fire" - The first proper, physical release from the album set to be releaset 1st June.

oh my god this tune is terrible:S.......i loved kasabian when there still were christopher karloff,the period of first album,which was really superb...empire was good,but nothing compared to their first work"kasabian"....now this stuff is goin'down.

Agreed.

On the first album, all tracks were very good in their own right. To me, it was a really really good album, I still play it once in a while. On Empire, it's like... 1 out of 3. Plus I lost interest in it... Since Empire it feels like they are trying really hard to sound tough (which is an epic fail to me).

I expect this new album to have like 2 or 3 good tracks on it, at best. Maybe because I don't like the aggressive military vibe. I like the Beatles-sounding cheesyness (+electronic details, synths) from the first album so much more... more easy-going and just... nice. I hope they'll pick it up again.

The Underdog tune is my fave at the mo.

I liked some of the other tunes they released that weren't on the album around that time.
