Overall it was a cool gig way too short though didnt expect a full set but 50 odd minutes !!!!!!!!!!!!!This was my 11th time seeeing them and the first time they didnt do an encore little dissapointed with that. Rumours were flying around that they would not turn up and I heard that they were on the piss all day in the 4 seasons in Dublin. They only got to Slane 10 minutes prior to going on stage. Best tune of the day was for me was smack my bitch up.
If any of the Irish crew interested ive heard that they will be playing live in the O2 in December!!! roll on xmas
Yeah i heard that myself, i reckon that gig should be confirmed in the next few weeks.
As for the encore, they played all the tracks from the encore in the setlist but they just had no break in between Voodoo and Omen Reprise.
Kasabian didn't play a full set either and they were only on for an hour.

agreed that kasabian only played for hour but as second headliners you would think that they would have done a longer set

How many of you were hoping the Gallaghers were going to join the boys to drop Shootdown. That would of been epic!!

Thought the Prodigy rocked Slane, pity about the small set but probably to be expected as they were support.
I thought Breathe really kickstarted the crowd, the dubstep went down well too.
Hope they play the o2 in Dec
