Not sure if I think he swears too much, but I'm pretty sure he swears more than he used to.

the great thing about prodigy music is you dont have to think. theres nothing to think about. if you analyse it, its a bunch of blokes on stage jumping around swearing, shouting, spitting and screaming with a load of flashing lights, pounding beats and gut churning bass. i dont think swearing is the most over the top part about it all, the whole things nuts

100% agree with this statement , but swearing in english is nothing compared to swearing in croatian and word "fuck" is so "fucking" common in everyday conversations that i even don't consider it as swearing or smth :D

Needs less swearing imo.

More weird phrases like 'Psychosomatic' and 'Style unorthodox, but of course it rocks'

I'd say it's about time for a Maxim hip-hop track....

His swearing can be slightly over the top sometimes. I don't mind it, it's just expression but he seems to swear more than he used to, and a lot more than Keith...

Has anyone noticed that 00's Maxim live is a lot higher pitched than 90's Maxim live? Take any 90's live recording and compare to a 00's one, like Spitfire live or something. You'll see what I mean...

I think that Prodigy are as much a studio band as they are live. Of course, the guys themselves live for the gigs, but the music is born in the studio.

What's my point?

No swearing in the studio, but plenty live - but given Prodigy thrive on their live performances and getting the crowd hyped, aggression on stage is key to that. Prodigy's music has always been dramatic, aggressive and pounding, and eliminating the swearing would make it sound like a Take That concert.

And by no means am I slagging off Take That, they've come back and actually done their reputation the world of good with their new music (a bit like our Prodge), but their target audience and the response they want from the audience at concerts is very different.

The music defines the lyrics on stage and MC'ing.

and if I remember right "Their Law" was butchered as well. Must have been hard for Maxim to not swear that night.

Maybe when they drop WD from the set this problem would be solved :)

I voted no. It might really sound stupid when u listen a gig at home, but when u are there it's different. And anyway... who cares? Though I also hate that "all my fuckin warriors" thing. I would like to hear it only in WD, but not on the whole fuckin gig, like imd starts and maxim says all my fuckin warriors. why not all my fuckin invaders then? :-D
By the way my father sometimes asks if "this man only can scream or what?" :-D

Oh by the way, about screams... keith should do it more. Firestarter T In The Park 2008 is just fuckin brilliant! Not like today this "togerher we can rip it down, let's tear it down" stuff.
