Think I will skip this.... not sure yet, but bought my Werchter tickets and lowlands has a weak lineup imo =)

About 90% of the Lowlands line up is still to be announced, but if you want to see big bands you need to go to Werchter.

Will they broadcast the full gig like in 2005?

You can only hope for it !!

I've been missing full gig pro shot recordings since 2005 !! :(

But I think there's a fair chance the full gig will be broadcasted.
(Referring to 2005 recording , and they're totally back with new shit now , blahblah)

I've just heard that The Prodigy has given permission to show (part of) the Friday gig on the Lowlands stream via 3VOOR12.vpro.nl/lowlands

It's not yet known if 3voor12 is allowed to show (part of) the gig live on the stream, that should be announced via http://twitter.com/3voor12

Also Lowlands will be on Dutch tv, channel Ned 3 will show lowlands several times during the weekend:

Friday:
23:05 till 00.05 (so a change of Prodigy live!)

Saturday:
21:05 till ?

23:20 till 6:28 highlights of Lowlands so far

Sunday:
23:30 till 00:35 highlights of Lowlands

I'll see if I can find some more info tonight, leaving for Lowlands Thursday at 18:00. Can't wait to see Prodigy again!

Lowlands 2005 is the one and only full video show there is. is there something else? (except the early shows and Phoenix '96(this don't, because is not SMBU))

Got home at 4:00 this morning after seeing the band perform at Lowlands yesterday evening. My girlfriend and I arrived at the festival terrain around 20:30. We parked at the backstage entrance and went for the main stage where the guys would perform at 22:00. It took us a while to get there, as I'm on crutches at the moment due to a bone in one of my feet being worn off and which will take a few months to heal. We saw the show from the back of the tent, from a raised platform especially meant for people in wheel chairs and those on crutches. (Why are some non-handicapped people standing on there, who aren't accompanying any handicapped people either? Fuckers.)

The whole tent was packed with people, just like the fields around the tent. The band started exactly at 22:00. This is what everybody had been waiting for; The Prodigy! They kicked off with World's On Fire and the crowd went crazy. They played the known setlist and the response from the crowd was great with each tune. Breathe was followed by the dubstep version, which hit really hard. Other tunes from the Music For The Jilted Generation era which were played were Their Law, Firestarter and Smack My Bitch Up. From the Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned era only the Action Radar link was played. All tunes from the latest album, Invaders Must Die, generated a massive crowd response. Best tune for me was Warrior's Dance, which had some great little extra sounds in there. Great show, great sound quality, wish I could re-live the whole show. :)

After the show, my head still buzzing, we celebrated Liam's birthday backstage with champagne in Scooby Doo cups. ;) See photo in my post above. Saw photo's of Liam's son, talked about Maxim's paintings, had a look at some of the gifts which Liam got for his birthday (Liam, your gift will be mailed Monday, as promissed ;)), talked about the forthcoming single (99,99% chance that it will be Thunder, backed with amongst others a remix from Liam himself), talked about the lack of B-sides on the latest singles (too good to be just B-sides, planning on a proper release for those tunes), et cetera. An hour later we said each other goodbye. My foot hurting like hell, it was time to leave.

Thanks guys for the great show and the nice time spent backstage! See you all next show. :)
