I thought i'd post here, as last time I posted in the 'music' section and my thread was avoided like the plague!!

Anyways, the original and a remix of my latest tune. It uses the same 'push up your hand if you love the fashion' sample as TMTTH.

It aint great, but it has potential I think, and i'm constantly working on it, it will never be finished lol. Let me know what you think!!

I feel that the drums should explode at about 1:04 so you could do with another drum layer. Also there could be more variation in the structure as you keep the same drums throughout the tune. You could do with a breakdown in the middle somewhere where the drums die and then you bring them back in for the second drop.

Also, it seems that the vocals are the wrong tempo so perhaps they could be time stretched or cut up because atm it sounds a bit weird towards the end of the sample.

Don't give up though mate, no one makes the tune of the century with their first ever production... everyone starts a bit rough.

Thanks for the detailed analasys dude! Yeah you're right, needs more variation, and a breakdown. I'm constantly adding/altering bits when I can (don't get much time at the moment due to working and shagging) so eventually I might have something decent to share with you all

I think the sample sounds ok when it's just the "push up yo" bit, but when I use the whole "push up your hands if you love the fashion" sample it sounds off yeah.

Hopefully by this time next week it will sound a lot better!!
