Okay but War of the Worlds did something weird too.

hmm, scariest movie...
it is hard to say, because i remember when i was young that movies were a lot more scary then when i watch one now
but i think i go for Stephen King's It aswell.
that clown freaked me out :D, i think some ppl still get scared from clowns if they saw that movie when they were young (though i dont see why, how can a clown be scary, they are here to entertain ppl, not trying to scare them)

this one is not that scary...but zombies just freak me out

i never really had a movie that scared the crap out of me, but i got some creepy ones that got to me a bit. fuck those horror movies where the only way they can make you jump is with a loud bang or musical score hit. these movies have generally creepy atmospheres.
