There's so many programs out there that claim to do this, but...
I've got a DVD that is larger than the 4.7 GB you can fit on a DVD-R.
What is the best program to compress (AND REMOVE EXTRAS, SUBTITLES etc) so I can get it to fit on a DVD-R disc?
I'm looking for the program/s that gives the VERY BEST picture quality at the end regardless of time.
Thanks.

I'm trying a program at the moment called DVDRemaster Pro (on a mac, but I have Windows on Boot Camp for other software), it let me remove the shit from the original DVD that I didn't want (i.e. extras, subtitles) and I set it to the best possible output compression quality n its saying its gonna take 4 hours! Ive got no problem with it taking that long but I have no idea how the final quality will be.
Is the program shit n am I wasting all this time on a DVD that will look crap at the end of it all?

Tried DVD Shrink last night n for some reason it had a problem opening the VIDEO_TS folder, but I tried it just now on the mac running DVD Shrink through Crossover n it opened it fine. Took just 4 minutes to compress the DVD after removing the extras n then compared the quality to the one that was taking 4 hours to do n the quality wasn't any different! In fact the DVD Shrink files looked a tad better if anything.
DVD Shrink is great! (Providing the DVD is decrypted first)
