This is for those that are into music making & shit. I have a question about Scooter that's been buggin' me for years. How the FUCK are they getting those crowd effects / choruses on some of their tracks?! It's fucking unbelievable, I get chills every time I listed to those things. And it's really hard to believe they get 200 people to sing & stuff. My bet is they have only a few, but use some hardware / software effect to multiply the voices. But WHAT?? I've been looking for something like this for fucking years. Nothing.

I once wanted a sample of a big crowd shouting "Eskimo", needless to say, I didn't find one. So I basically recorded myself shouting it in different voices, about 20 times, added reverb and delay and voila, sounded like a crowd. I reckon he just gets a few people to record whatever 100 times or so and does the same thing.
As a side note, Scooter? Really?!

Yes, Scooter, really. There are some things, like this crowd effect, that I really like from them. Also, I love the reverb they use, but that's another story, easier to do.
I know you can get SOME type of crowd effect, but just listen to theirs. It's like thousands of people are singing, it's fucking mind blowing...

But in reality, it's not 1000s of people singing. I just sounds like that. Do what I say and you'll find it works.

Obviously. My problem is with what they use, I KNOW there aren't thousands of people singing. I've tried many things, trust me, but I can't get that effect and it really pisses me off...

it probably a bunch of samples they have hoarded over the years plus the use of expensive studio equipment.
