So its been almost a year since IMD was released, its been a great year for the band lots of videos, gigs, success in charts and sales (with the exception of TMTTH :P )

But anyways, i really like the album and honestly ive been listening to it daily and non-stop since it surfaced online last year and i never got bored of it because its so fresh and the production is beyond amazing compared to AONO, i believe that Warrior's Dance is one of the best songs theyve ever done its up there in the top 5 songs and the energy it has is incredible the same with thunder and tmtth and the rest there isnt any song i skip on the album and currently RWTW is my favorite 8-)

Im glad that it turned out to be so amazing and i look forward for the next album :D its my second fav after MFJG propably cause i over heard Fat of the land cause its playing everywhere till now especially on adverts and stuff

So, Happy Birthday dear IMD, i love you and you influenced me big time as always 8-)

Christ a year already eh!

I tend to skip colours and piranah these days! It's not that I don't like them, I just think the rest of the album is better! TMTTH, WD, RWTW and IMD (reamped) are my favourites!

Favourite remixes are FFS's remix of WD and the Arveene & Misk's Thunder remix! Overal a fucking fantastic year for prodigy fans, during which time I've seen them 4 times! I doubt there will be another period like it! Some effort these lads have put in for the fans this year!

Respect to the prodigy and respect to the brainkiller crew for everything you guys do! You're all the dogs bollocks! :bigthumb:

How fast a year can go. I remember being blasted away when I first heard the album. First thoughts were like :"fuck me ! The Prodigy are really back."

It's hard to choose the best song on an album that's just amazing overall. But I think Warriors Dance is ma favourite. Probably because Liam managed to bring the experience era a bit back. Which is my favourite era.

Respect to everyone who helped creating IMD and let the prodigy's next album be even better than this one

Omen Reprise is the most beautiful thing theyve ever done

Skylined for me.

Omen Reprise second.

Back on-topic Piranha is still my favourite track off IMD, just imagine that track live.

TMTTH still a banger, listening to that track and remembering the live experiences of this track make me shiver.

Warrior's Dance , only listen to it when I get the chance to hear it on a big soundsystem really, deserves it.

What do I have to say...

Invaders Must Die, the album in a whole is one of the reasons why I'm a Prodigy fan.

I love this album and I'm glad about it that this is an asskickin album. I like many tracks on AONO, but the album sounds shitty, too many loops, bad edited tracks. But now on IMD it is nearly brilliant edited like TFOTL.

Since the day when IMD-track droped, i cant stop hearing this tune. the re-amped version is a good edit, but i prefer the original.

TMTTH grows and grows on me. after release of the album the band started the germany clubtour. i rocked two gigs and in this time the whole album grows on me and let my skin went crazy. WOF asskickin tune aslong with WD. RWTW is a good tune but the vocals suckz. i lke the starting of this track, but after 1:09min it lost some power.

the only track i skip everytime is colours. it have a nice melody, but this track suckz. i think its the vocals again. dont know why but i dont like it.

Commanche is one of my favorits too. love it.

after the untouchable MFTJG and the genius TFOTL its on 3rd rank. but I'm very happy with this amazing album. so fresh new prodigy style the perfect "addon" to the old stuff.

+1 :-D

Wasnt too keen on the album when it came out. I remember moaning to Evans about it :rofl1:
Followed by a lot of panicking cause I love The Prodigy and to have a Prodigy album I didn't like made me feel a bit out of my comfort zone.
Dunno what it was I didn't like though suppose it was just the whole new'ness of the songs I'm guessing.

But since then after alot of listening to it, it grew on me and now I quite like it.

Though it isn't the best album they have produced in my opinion I rather like mftjg, and I'm still pretty hooked to that album, as well as Experienced that still blows my mind!

Anyway's I'll give it credit it is a decent album and is pretty fresh a year on. As well I'm quite liking the new look they have given them selves it suits them and the tunes they have produced on the album

must say back in the early days of 2008 the first tiny little gigs of the year kicked off, my internet was down and i had went to my mates house to use his pc to see tracklists and hear some new prodigy.

i remember the first track i heard it was unstoppable, i kept my mouth shut about my opinion on here, i was too scared to say i hated it because i knew it was early days.

worlds on fire comes on and i heard it also from the youtube recordings, i never liked it either, i was thinking to myself what the fuck is going on. i've been so used to hearing the prodigy's Epicness type of sound that dates from 05 to 07, i thought invaders must die would have sounded the same similar type of genre, at the time i was expecting a dark and evil album since they wanted to make a new album instead of their law.

i also heard warriors dance, once again it wasn't a dark sounding track a part from the bridge of the tune.

a few months later i'm at T in the park, hearing new tracks was very scarce at the time, all the recordings were complete and utter bollocks and this is what made me not keen on the first 3 tracks i heard back in 08.

when the invader intro came on i loved the bassline, noone had heard the tune imd but liam played the bass as their intro, it was a dark and crazy sound from heaven in my opinion, worlds on fire came on and it was unreal, the heavy bass drums and the guitar, keith and maxim it was incredible, a perfect prodigy track, full of what us the fans were after for years, warriors dance was played and its bridge bassline was unreal, i started loving all the new tracks, unstoppable got changed to something called mescaline, i heard this and it blew my fucking head off, its tooken me 2 years to realize why though, it was my dream track ever since i got into prodigy , i wanted a dark prodigy track, with epicness and keith and maxim, with live drums and glitches, with a great bridge like smbu and thats what i got to hear that day, unfortunately i never got to hear it again, although we have mescaline now it just isn't in its best form for me.

liam had announced that imd would feature no guitars and it would be a happy album, i had to tune my ears to get into this vibe, but it worked, invaders must die was then released as a free download and it did have the happy vibe to it, i enjoyed it though because it still had epicness and to my surprise it had guitar in it.

eventually 2009 came and tracks started to slowly leak, they were already ones we heard live but hearing them at home was an awesome experience, the wait felt like it was finally over, artwork and tracklists started pouring in and prodigy done a great job in giving everyone an idea of what it would sound like, if we had the album just released with no warning i'm pretty sure a few people wouldn't have digged most tracks because we wern't prepared to hear this new madness.

the album then was very mixed, prodigy delivered an album to suit every fans taste, dark and evil but joyful and epic.

a year on and it still sounds good, its not like it was before because i've listened to it a good hundred odd times like most of us here have, my taste for music is changing and prodigy seem to be doing that to me, i never liked dubstep music before but now i get cravings for it, just like what prodigy done to me in 2005, it made me feel the need for dark and epic fast crazy music, i'm starting to feel the urge for new prodigy music now, this is probably due to having no live only tracks, its really weird because that was one of my most favourite things about seeing them live, the chance to hear something fresh and new in between album material but they've stopped it and i need more.

the album is great, i love invaders must die, the whole project from the artwork, to the stage to the music itself was perfect for prodigy, now they've got a tough job to do, i'm slightly paranoid that there next album might not be as good because this whole era has been great, everything is getting darker now, before when imd was released it was a very happy vibe in artwork and live tours, but now everything is getting darker, more basic and rancid, i only can hope that we will hear at least one new song this year, i'd love that, something we've never heard before in our lives, that would help the urges of new prodigy music die down for a while.

The Birmingham IMD taster gig, was what gave me high hopes of something special to come on The Prodigy's new album. With WOF, UNSTOPPABLE and WARRIORS DANCE being played I was really impressed.

I should have remembered this when hearing the radio broadcast of Invaders Single. I had to listen to the track at work on a pair of crappy 'tinny' headphones on my mobile. I remember feeling a little worried about the direction the band were going in. My brother in law had recorded the single and put it on disc for me the next morning. I remember cranking it up, still expecting to feel disapointed. It was then I appreciated the track, and all memories of birmingham came flooding back. What a year, and as the band have expressed on the site, at how many gigs they have done over this peiod, it marks a great and well deserved achievement by what I consider to be the greatest dance/electronic/whatever band ever.

Hate listening to it. I think it's utterly crap on a CD, just sounds like well produced roboticness. Hearing it live though, it takes a new form, I love that album played live, it's just mad it gives a whole new vibe to it, it feels unplanned and fresh.

That's just my take on it though. I think I've listened to the album maybe twice since I bought it. It just doesn't excite me.

Still sounds great after a year.
It could have been a tad better if it had the single version of Omen and the 2008 version of World's On Fire

Love the album, best of the 00's without doubt. It's just solid and addictive and never loses it's appeal. Sure I'd have changed a few things, like having Mescaline on the album, having 08 Worlds On Fire, and I'm not a big fan of Stand Up. Overall though I think it's great. And yes Colours is brilliant, never understand why so many people go on about it but it's Prodigy for gods sake!...
