I heard story that only 10 copys of it exist. And that XL somehow lost all 10 when they were moving their stuff to new location. :-D

what kinda price are we looking at here?

Well, the Leeroy Dammed mix tape, I have had a few people making me offers, the highest one was £55.00 GBP, I'm just going to let the auction run to the end. I'll be putting the minefields tape on for a starting price of 0.99p GBP and let that one run to the end too... unless someone offers me something crazy like a thousand pounds lol :D

As far as I remember, it's a dj mix with some demo's mixed into it on the Leeroy dammed tape. I guess I could rip it and mp3 it before I sell it.

Can you tell us what the difference is between the Headrock Beats Mix and the Headrock Dub?

I'd be interested to know from someone who has actually heard the 'Headrock Beats Mix' how different it is from the 'Headrock Dub'. I asked Martin James years ago and he said it was "very similar".

I'll rip it and upload mp3's of these tapes here before they are sold, if that'll help. I can't actually remember if there was any difference, only played it once... but that fact that I can't remember any difference probably means there wasn't anything different.!

Please do, don't think it's been posted before and as it's so rare I'm sure it'll be welcomed by all.

For God's sake lets hope your tape deck doesn't chew it up.. ;)

Maybe seller means 1 of 3 versions of different color (yellow, pink and orange)

Surely it makes no difference when the original source was a crappy tape anyway? Id be more than happy with just mp3's

Heres another charity auction, but for a signed guitar this time -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0381504356

I asked if it had been used by The Prodigy and this is what the seller replied-
"The guitar was donated to us by Gibson. The guitar was new, and The Prodigy used it as part of a Gibson session and then signed it and gave it back to be donated to Cancer Research UK"

The prodigy used it as part of a Gibson session.........really???? What you mean is they signed it and plucked a string or two then gave it back.......

its a good cause but a fan should know that its not half as good as the broken guitar one, it was used by the band for live performance :)
