It's all publicity. They don't have any way to prove it. The 1st archaeologists to examine the cave say its a 1at century jewish family's cave. They basically found the John Smith' of the 1st century tomb. Maybe Cameron is running low on his Titanic cash.

You gotta ask the question, why? There's no reason to do this other than an attempt to destroy the faith of millions, and the foundations of several major countries.

The claims are illogical, in fact I laughed when they mentioned DNA testing. To whom are they going to test it against? Even if they do have a good reference, it's been over 2,000 years. How the hell are they really going to know who's who?

Why you ask? I'm going to go with money and attention. He has a new documentary coming out. He needs ratings. Religious controversy is a cash cow will always keep people interest. The Da Vinci Code is a prime example of this.

Yup. Just look at The Passion of the Christ.

controversy = money

Well, if it’s bullshit (what it very likely is) then it will make for a bloody good story! So I think I’ll see the documentary anyways. But the whole thing about ‘the foundations’ that certain countries are build on…….hmmmmz, I think it is time to move on from that. As far as I can tell most people either don’t believe the ‘established’ religions (but do believe in something of a higher power), are hypocrites or just don’t believe in anything at all.

Time really to move on and establish something that is real and we can all relate to. Just don’t ask me what it is :P

I didnt see this coming from mr Cameron.... he definitely doesnt have any money problems to solve by doing this..i mean... he's busy filming a brand new big budget scifi movie called Avatar and he's got a few more movies already in pre-production.... money and power is something he already has... i think he's doing this out of belief in these scientists findings....

but as far as believing this to be jesus's tomb... i'll wait for the documentary to come out..... even though i have major doubts.... :?
