Both RATM and Audioslave are amazing bands. But I believe that if you respect and understand the music and ideas of RATM and its members you would respect and understand Audioslave too. This is rock'n'roll with a cause. This is what they are all about. And people saying that they're happy with Audioslave's split just don't really respect and appreciate this music and this cause. I felt really bad when Zack left Rage back then. And I feel bad again cause of Cornell's departure. My only hope now is that one of these bands continue making music. This band seems to be Rage Against the Machine. And I'm really happy with that fact.RATM for life! thanx Chris for being part of such a great band as Audioslave. Thanx for all those great songs and for all that power and energy. The original fire has died and gone, but the riot inside moves on!

all I will say is I thought Audioslave were a waste of time thats all. lets call it a day eh we have our own opinions and thats that . |

How does not liking a band make me not smart? That's silly
I think probably that the "not smart" thing to do would be to defend a dead band to a bunch of people who hated them. It's all about musical tastes, bro, you're wasting your time.

as you can see above i respect Dirt's opinion (it's the same like yours) but i cannot respect statements like "I hoped audioslave would die " - it doesn't matter if it's audioslave or another band - i just find hoping for death "not smart"..It's that simple

Hmmm, I think there's been a miscommunication here. I didn't say I wanted the members of Audioslave to die, just the band itself. I hope the band itself reunites with de la Rocha for Rage Against the Machine again. As for Chris Cornell... whatever, haha.

id like some more soundgarden...im not going to lie...i didnt mind audioslave but hearing the butchered covers or Rage upset me greatly...and when trans4mer said they were one of the great rock n roll bands i just couldnt let that go without getting my two cents in...i backed off because music is personal to people and no 2 people will like all of the same music...there are always disagreements so how about it guys lets just agree to disagree and leave it at that.
