It's bad! First album is great, second is masterpiece, but this one is nothing!

I am not really happy with this album it doesn't have the fresh sound and edge of the first album (my favorite so far). Listen to "Plastic Beach" and then play "M1 A1", "Re Hash", "5/4" , "Punk", "Sound Check", "Latin Simone" or "Starshine" - damn when I heard their debut I was like WHOA!!! fuckin epic! I've never thought that I'd say this about Gorillaz but their new album is a bit boring. Still I will play it when I'm high I guess

compared to its predecessors this piece of plastic brings another devolution... anyhow i like it a lot, matches my mood very well... especially empire ants, great track, cool album, not overwhelming, yet cool...

I'm seriously loving this album now (and the special edition version came through the post earlier today), it gets better on every listen. Gorillaz have done it again!

Standouts for me include Superfast Jellyfish, On Melancholy Hill, and Glitter Freeze. However, all of the tracks flow together so well and make the album sound complete.
