Yes I said that about part two. For me sounds commercial, ugly etc.

I'm really liking 'The Vulture' and 'Comprachicos', the latter reminds me a bit of NIN. 'Witchcraft' would be great but that first verse kinda kills the track for me. 'The Fountain' sounds kinda reminds me of 'Midnight Runner'. 'Under The Waves' sounds like a some cool MegaMan stage music.

For the most part, I think it's an ok album, definitely better than 'In Silico' imho.

Going to see them in Edinburgh on thursday, let's see how their stuff holds up live. Saw them a few years back but the venue was shite, they were waaaay too loud for it, really small venue.

I'll say it will at least be a good laugh. God knows what kind of people go see this band, they're pretty mainstream now. Let's see how they deal with a seasoned prodigy fan's elbow in the face!

well, i do know that the states comes out with films faster than the brits, but i find it to be like the home of any type of electronic music, raves :P

but anyway, back to the topic:

Quote:
"In Silico was almost a device to divide the audience and make them decide whether they liked us or not," said Gareth, "The ones that have accepted us will love the new album. If you weren't sure about In Silico, Immersion isn't going to change yourmind."

believe this statement will be right on.

in other words:

you'll get plenty of the same old repetitive crap if that's what you're into!

Just listened to pendulum - immunize(the track liam howlett collab'd on)

The drums are very Liam, and nothing about the track is very pendulum..
The track actually heavily reminds me of Mindless Self Indulgence - shut me up.

Much better quality than previous rips, thanks!

Under the Waves, Immunize, The Vulture and Set me on Fire are the clear winners here... Encoder reminds me of Peter Gabriel... (that's a good thing definitely) ..hate them or love'em.. their the only band shameless enough to have a tune like The Island and a tune like Self vs Self on the same record  (that's gotta be an attempt at balancing their karma)

worst aspect of this album is definitely the cover... cant believe it was made by Storm (the legend responsible for Pink Floyd's covers) Thorgerson.... the man dropped the ball big time... :?

(To anyone still puzzled by Liam H's colab with Pendulum... remind yourselves that the man likes Dolly Parton. he IS insane after all)

:(

The cover is fine

Sure, it's not one of Storm's classics but it's fine

It is

Yes :P

And if people have the CD, why not 320 rips ?? :?
