Nothing new Escape Velocity is not the first single.

I saw The Chemical Bros last Sunday at the Roundhouse and they smashed it. Horse Power was definitely my favourite track of the new ones that they played. I even remember after the gig that I was saying to my brother "Rush Hour was siiiick!" not knowing that it was actually called the similar sounding Horse Power lol.

I was going mental and the crowd wasn't really reacting that much in the first half of the gig tbh, it was pretty dead for some reason. Which was really surprising because the crowd was amazing at the Underworld gig in the same venue two years back. However, after the encore, they played the older stuff (It Doesn't Matter, Hey Boy Hey Girl, Under The Influence...) and the atmosphere was much better.

In my honest opinion, I'm not actually that big on Escape Velocity. Which is a bit of a shame since it's 12 minutes long lol, but I feel it has better potential. I know the Chems going for the more minimalistic approach, but I feel it would be better if it exploded into heavier beats after the great build up. Regardless, I still bought the t-shirt which I believe represents the track. Since it looks cool

so what's the release date on this? I know a page back it said it was pushed back but on the Chems website it says the 7th. Anyone know?

Also if this does come out in 4 days I can't believe they prevented a leak this late, congrats to them if that's the case.
