Well it's focussing on the belgian criminals anyway... and second season they get their women from thailand I believe. I seriously doubt you can call this series propaganda. It would be the same as calling the wire propaganda about black people only being drug dealers
Anyway, that was off topic. Apologies. I'm also able to chill on Hooverphonic and Lamb, but they're probably not what you're looking for.

Nah, man, but this morbid picture of Russia is very common in EU / US, anyways. Just tired of this. Noone will show glammy classy Russian model chicks, for instance. Too damn hot for this.... )))
Lamb is going into the set, I am going to play for 18-21 years olds and they definitely need some lecture on good downtempo / triphop, hehe.
Daft Punk - Make Love is a personal must. And Woozy by Faithless, too.

Some tracks off Alias album Muted from 2003 are there aswell, damn wicked mixture between IDM / instrumental hiphop. Absolute must for any fan of DJ Shadow.
Couple of Red Snapper / DJ Shadow tracks are going in aswell.

yes the album is great, it's more of a banger than a chillout album, but tunes like marrakech, blackout and we are in control is i think what your looking for.
also listen to "fight club" soundtrack, it's amazing.

raggedflag your artist list is weird because many of these artists do not make music in downtempo / chillout style. Especially Moderat, Shadow, Apparat etc. Or maybe your list is not about music genres but about what relaxes you

It's not about genres at all. It's about a particular chilling sound, not too dark, nice glitchy beats and some atmospheric / ambient style tracks.
As for Apparat / Moderat it's just has to be there. You Don't Know me works well in any list in my opinion and Moderats A New Error is just great track to open with. It has nice strings arrangements.
Triphop is a part of it and I count some instrumental hiphop like some tracks from DJ Shadow there. Fixed Income is going to be played.

Too much bass there.
And I'd prefer Tomorrow Comes Today instead, then.
