Me and Leslie basically went through all the places you could find in the crowd just to look for some madness.

Only to be dissapointed

I am Leslie.

I've only seen them 3 times, and every time it was awesome and the crowds were awesome... The only thing is I felt bad for was dropping elbows on short peoples heads.

oh and for launching people over the barrier when they crowd surf and land hard on my head and neck. Well I only feel bad for some of them after seeing them fly through the air.

I scoop them up and launch them with a hookshot style throw into security. Unless of course, it's a female.

I can't imagine a stale crowd at a Prodigy gig?

Seen them twice at Brixton...
Once at Wembley...

And each time was pure carnage everywhere...

I also don't get how some people are saying they feel sorry for others getting bashed (unless it was meant tongue in cheek). Sorry, but The Prodigy are the only Electronic band I know of that produce as close to a Metal atmosphere that I know? I've seen the likes of Hed PE and Rage Against the Machine. And fact is - you're gonna go there with the aim of pure adrenaline to buzz off the music. Same as Prodigy... It's gonna be / should be pure madness. And anyone who doesn't go there for that shouldn't be there in the first place. Sorry to say, but that includes a percentage of girls and all fellas standing there hugging their girlfriends. Stand at the side, or fuck off.

first of all, the Diesel Power vid from Rock IM Ring was bad ass.

second, I know what you guys are saying a few pages back about lame crowds. It was even worse in Miami 09 at Ultra Fest. Nobody moved at all.

AT ALL. I had to go mental by myself and everyone was all afraid so they backed away and gave me a huge area to myself.

Fuck Miami. Fuck lame people at Prodigy gigs.
At the same time, we don't need people going so hard they're hurting people like a metal show. Like, prison riot style. fuck that.

Yeah Rock AM Ring was in Germany right? And they seemed to be into it enough maybe not further back but that's way Kieth or Maxim go out to get them moving too. Crowd @ Pinkpop Festival in Netherlands I think got into it a little more. To be honest I'm surprised you'll thought it was lame with the way the band keeps saying the German crowds are the best.

Like I said in NY the whole crowd was moving and going crazy but no one was hitting each other. I think they we're to many people going crazy that no one could even start a mosh pit.

I think it was in Philly and not in NY where the second floor was a little weak but of course I wasn't up there. Maxim called them out and told them he wanted to see every one up there moving. He went up there too to help get them pumped.

saw them live twice in NYC

first was Their Law Tour
and then IMD

both times, the crowd went mental.
not mosh pits, just everyone was moving and dancing

i remember at Nokia in Times Square
i was dead center, maybe 3 rows back from the front
after the intro, once Break & Enter kicked in, it just went off!
i ended up all the way to the right, several rows back
back toward the front, off to the left, i mean all over
there was no way to stay still in just one spot unless WAY back
it was fucking great! the crowd was like an ocean of movement.

i remember at Roseland for IMD tour
i was with my girl and three other friends
as soon as World's On Fire kicked in, it was just me and my girl
in that instant the beat comes in, bam, there was no stopping the movement
great times! one of the first times Thunder was played live!
the whole time in my head, i was like "thunder, please oh please, play thunder" and once Maxim shouted something pertaining to the lyric, i was like "this is it!"
aw, man such a great time!

hopefully they come back around some time.

saw them seven times almost 8x (sunday) and everytime I was at the front, like you said the crowd was like a big ocean of people and big waves of human energy, I really like to look back when I jump to see these waves. at pukkelpop 05 I remember that the crowd looks so massive. really really want to be sunday to feel it again  GRRRRRRR...... see you all at the first row. 8-)

saw them six times from 05' on... i dont like to be at the very front, too many people, you cant move plus i get exhausted very quick when jumping and screaming all the time  i need the air from the back
so ten to twenty meters away from the stage is my place to be, moshpits and space to go nuts, less crowded but more mayhem...
