Didn't really know him that much back then when alot of people didnt like his actions with the demo-tape, but who cares anyways my prayers go to his family and friends.

This is the last time i heard anything about him when he sent me this PM back in January:

good job making it an announcement i think any member who passes away should be given their respects in the forum.

never really got the chance to even talk to him but i knew a lot of people did and he was famed for the demo tape.

hope his family is alright, cancer is such a cold-hearted killer, I'm sure he lived a good life for the time he had.

im glad this thread has gotten a nice amount of attention. it doesent cost anything to just come in and post your respects, at the end of the day, things might be a little different if his demo tape didnt find its way onto the internet!

Kean was planning on writing a book about his life and experiences with the band and suchlike, i for one am gutted we will never get to read that! it would of been very interesting to see from an insiders point of view what the early days were really like. I myself have heard some rather unflattering stories about Liam from his very early days from DJs who were playing at the clubs the band were playing at and suchlike. Although Kean never had a bad word about Liam!

Im going to pass on this thread to his wife too, it will be nice for her to read this, show that Kean had alot of friends even on the internet.
