Playing Super Mario World (GBA), Perfect Dark (Xbox remake), Condemned. Never got into Dead Space. The camera angle is shit in my opinion as with RE5... Condemned is a good game as with Super Mario World. Though Galaxy on the Wii is fuckin awesome! The camera angle is not the problem... it's the whole reason why the games are scary; you can't see everything because you have limited view. I also had to get used to it. It payed off; both two of my favorite xbox games. See, I had an xbox silver account on my mate's Xbox, but since I made a new account on my own xbox, I had to get new achievements for about 12 games. Want to full complete Condemned also, still 8 games to go... Currently playing: Mirror's Edge Kameo - Elements of Power Condemned 2 Bioshock
Yeah I kinda agree camera angle etc adds a atmospheric eerieness to the games. Still, I couldn't adjust to it, which upset me a lil as I love the Resident Evil series.
Lmao good luck with the achievements. I got my bro to pimp me out on Bad Company 2 and earn me a few trophies
Ha! Hes now got to do it all over again on his PS3 online account

i've been playing Chrono Trigger the past few weeks.
i've never played it before, although my brother had a wildcard for his SNES and lots of games he never ever had this one.
Tom recommended it to me one night we were talking about good JRPG's i was talking to him about Secret Of Mana and he told me Chrono Trigger is the shit, that was about a year ago but i remembered a few weeks ago and got my DS out and played the DS version, what an epic game, its way better than FFXIII (which i've also been playing) when it comes to core Gameplay/lovability of Characters/Story i honestly recommend it.
maybe it was the fact i felt like i reconised the characters, the artist was the same guy who done Dragon Ball's art and i'm a DB fan myself and i love the art style, think i might be giving the new dragonquest a go next.
but time traveling, cutesy graphics, tons of enimies and 13 different endings is something epic, not something i'd expect from an original SNES game, i've completed it on the DS and now i've moved on the the SNES version via an emulator, its even better on a large screen, perhaps all you guys have played it though ! but if you aint i really recommend it, the DS version is great and the touch screen things really work for it and its got motion video's on the DS version (SPOILER ALERT) the first ending had Chrono and the Princess's Marridge and all that(SPOILER FINISHED)
i've noticed a few differences from the two versions, the future for example, the factory were you have to get the power back on has minor changes, i dont remember using a crane in the DS version, think it was made easier on DS but great fun never the less, theres also a NEW GAME+ option when you complete the game, with new portals and stuff, i've not completed the SNES version yet so i'm not sure if that applies to the SNES version as well but i'm looking forward to findiing out
as you can see i'm pretty happy about this game, bit dissapointed that i never descovered it some years ago !

CT is my all time favourite game, I love it. Played it back on the SNES and got the best ending and a couple of the other ones like the one you mentioned. But not all of them, some of them are really cool and weird!
Yes the SNES one has NEW GAME+ too. That's how you get a lot of the endings. I got it for DS also but haven't been all the way through it yet, so far I haven't really minded the script changes from the original SNES version.
That game has it all (IMO), epic twists in the storyline, big surprises like when you have the option of having ..... join you, and when you.......... but yeah, I guess you know what I'm talking about.
One thing that has always stuck with me about that game is it's music. I'm not kidding that games music has an emotional hold on me!

Yasonuri Mitsuda is the man!
EDIT : oh wait, am I the "Tom" that told you about this game?

Nah it was the other tom aka The Oracle that recommended it to me
it does have a great soundtrack, and yeah i know what your taking about, really good plot twists, i feel its got everything a jprg should have too, and i'm giving this standard in 2010, chrono trigger was out in 95 was it not ? 15 years later i still think its one of the best jrpg's i've played, the battle system isn't boring, the story is epic, along with the artwork and the soundtrack !

ah I see, I was thinking it was me! But hey, I think one night a long time ago Agent Orange and I was talking about JRPG's so yeah, must have been him I was rambling on about it to. But all the same, CT is awesome and yeah it was 1995 I think, and yeah I think it still stands up well today.and hopefully they make another sequel to it, Chrono Cross is alright but hasn't aged as well as CT. I'd like to see a proper real deal sequel.
Speaking on FFXIII, I have it but haven't even played it yet, I usually like to make up my own mind about games but that game has had so many negative things said about it that I've lost the urge to give it a shot.

Well... Im back to Guild Wars on my Laptop, and Im back on the Ps2.
Brought Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater and Tomb Raider Angel Of Darkness at Game in Norwich. Been looking everywhere for these - but not playing..
Though I did pick these up for less than a tenner what a bargain!
Found Final Fantasy X for a few quid on Ebay was pretty cheap compared to other bids which means I got another bargain. So... I'm currently addicted to killing fiends and killing Sin

Also I wait for my ordered wii Rail-Shooter "House Of The Dead Overkill" - it´s forbidden to sell this game in Germany.

i got bioshock 2 today, u'll probably notice i've got a delay of about 6 months when it comes to buying games, its so my hobby/addiction is cheaper, i stopped buying games for a while a year ago because my 360 died so i've been able to catch up, i recommend trying it sometime.
theres only one game i've seen this year that i Know will be a first day purchase, Fallout: New Vegas i'm getting the collectors edition !

I dont blame ya. I paid £60 for Final Fantasy 13 when it was 1st released (it was a limited Edition Collectors .. one lol!) But I saw one for sale the other day half that
But I'm a woman and buy on impulse, I had to have it there and then
