What I expect from the future album:
Variation. Like if you compare Experience and Jilted. Experience was basically just full on rave madness from start to finish, not that I'm insulting it, I love the Experience era tracks. With the exception of little slower beats in Weather Experience it's quite "one dimensional" as Liam has stated. Same with Invaders Must Die. It's blasting after blasting, two minutes to breathe with Omen Reprise and then we go again full throttle boom boom boom! Again an awesome record, but what these two examples lack is the variation of Jilted. It's fast and chaotic stuff too, but the genres of each track is different. Break and Enter to Their Law - huge difference. In the middle there's Speedways ambient chill out part. Then we go slow with Poison and raise the tempo again with No Good. Not to mention the ultimate creative flow of the Narcotic Suite.
So, if there's going to be new album and it seems like so, Liam should in my opinion be very creative. Tracks from side to side, try different sounds and genres so each track could be an unique experience. He said he makes tunes for live, but I tempt him to do a couple longer and not for live tracks if you know what I mean. Maybe then make shorter live remixes from them. Little worried about live shows too. Now it's 50 % IMD and 50 % old. How's the setlist gonna be then? 50 % new stuff, 25 % IMD, 25 % the oldskool bangers?! Hmmm.
Couple things also:
- atleast one track with female vocal sample
- longer tunes (7 minutes would be awesome if even one track)

Whatever it is i just hope its darker. TMTTH and Omen were right up their as favourite ever Prodigy tracks because of the darker tones and power.

Agent Orange wrote: By the way, this excision shambala, I listened to it. So, lets say Prodigy releases a track like this. What then? You'll probably get this 'Charly killed Rave' thing all over again, but this time 'Overdrive (future Prodigy track name) killed Dubstep'. Not gonna work
i could actually see this happening...
But i doubt very much they will kill it...dubstep is pretty much on its ass now
I'd rather have a perfect recording of the milton keynes gigs...with those badass remixxes

i can't believe some people can just write off dubstep so easily...
yeah dubstep is shit, if you're listening to Skream, Caspa, and Benga
that's commercial dubstep garbage in my opinion
dig a little deeper, there is some mad, banging dubstep artists out there making it their own.
love Bass Nectar and Mochipet (he killed it in NYC!)

If we talk about dupstep! It's good, and not shit. But I can't see The Prodigy doing it. That just is not their style! What I prefer is maybe some more darker industrial influenced track with a prodigy attitude! And demo they played at zane show with Tom Morello on guittar and Dave Grohl on drums, Keith on vocals with additional female back vocal, maybe Jullite. That would be banging!
