Was actually thinking of doing the whole ear stretching thing..!
So I need convincing or putting off the idea.

yes do it, if you stretch your ears to about max 14mm and if you eventually decide you don't like it anymore, you take out the plugs and the hole will get back to normal within a week or 2 ... no problem ...

And if you don't want to spend loads of money on ear stretchers, buy FIMO clay and make them yourself ... It's safe enough and saves a loooooot of money.

Nah Ive decided against it.. and Im going for a lip piercing instead. Maybe a few more ear piercings too. Along with some 'skanky' dreads.
