Agreed ! The most interesting thing is, why there are soo many different white promos crop up ??? It´s hard to see the difference between original and fake !

i propose that we create a prodigy collectibles PRICE GUIDE , this way we can control the market prices of such things as SPITFIRE cd single and other rare collectibles , if there is a guide people will go by the prices it lists , and if everyone sticks to the prices in the guide the sellers wont have choice but to sell at the prices we set , the only hard to do thing would be that all the buyers would have to stick to the prices that we set in the guide , what do u guys think ? i propose that all cd-r promos are not sold at more than $5 dollars cuz theres so many of them floating out there and every seller claims they are rare when in actuality they could have just been laser scribed like that CHARLY "PROMO" that popped up on ebay few months ago lol

problem is people who are after a missing cd will overbid to win. If we set say FPC @£75 and one of us bids the £75 first would that be fair for that person to win? I think not.
A guide would be nice , but it would take a lot of time to create and update.

there are many rare cd-r promos.
the thing is, when new promos start to go on ebay you dont know how many exist and will surface after some time. that's the reason ppl sell the first ones for 20-30 pounds and after that the prices drop. that can't stop.

true , but i still think a price guide would be nice to at least know what a particular item is worth , this way we can at least get an idea of what we should pay for it without overbidding , i for example bought the leeroy mixtape dj set for like 150 GBP begining of the year , it was suposedly soooo rare , then i saw it on ebay like twice and sold for way less than what i payed , now im kicking myself in the ass for spending so much although im happy cuz its 100% MINT !!!

like stelios says....when a promo first comes out prices are always exaggerated...then after the excitement wears off prices come down...you do take a chance though...some promos may only surface in very limited quantities such as the 9 track tmtth or the emi instrumentals from imd or the two minute edits of the imd tracks (still kicking myself for not bidding enough on that)...these are usually only available once or twice
i am saving now for the mk bluray/dvd promos that i am sure will come out...gonna be lots of activity on those
would be good to have a database of all the known promos...real and fake...prices might be hard do
