Maxims MCing does not translate well to home speakers.....unfortunate but true. My girlfriend said it sounds like a bird call or something

You're right, of course. Actually, I'm one of the select few who's not overly keen on Maxim's cuss-screech-vowel-cuss-vowel technique, even when heaering it live.

If the recording does get released, it'll be interesting to count how many times he shouts "All my fucking warriors".

People calm down.

All the people here who were actually there know the vibe from this day was destined to be recorded for the people who couldn't be there.

Wouldn't Paul Dugdale want to edit his recording perfectly to the band's requests ?

I could imagine the boys themselves are pretty involved in this process.
But they're busy with a million other things as well.

Just saying ... but this dvd or whatever will be released in the future.

You just can't scrap something big like Milton Keynes.

It's like throwing Charles Bronson out of his fucking cell.
You just can't.

Give time time peeps!

I just happen to think its going to be more of an IMD tour doc rather than just having a full blown WDF special, why else have Dugdale with them the whole way through the IMD touring era. Its going to take time to sort through and compile the best part of 2 & half years worth of footage.

2 disc box set!
Disc 1: IMD Tour Doc
Disc 2: WDF

:-D

Got to wait for the anticipation & speculation to die down a bit and then unleash it on us when we least expect it!

And don't forget the CD with the IMD stuff that was not on the original album, or is that asking a bit much ? :P

Yeah I think it's taking some time is a good thing. Believe they're just adding extra stuff for us. I mean they never released the full documentary they filmed before right? Really believe there will be loads of stuff on it. Other wise maybe there making sure it has good surround sound or the package design . But ether way it will be some time because once they officially announce the date we'll have to wait 3 more months if not more. But it's gonna be awesome for sure.

Nope not in the age of blue-ray or even freaken dvd. The hidden track on the Their Law dvd was cool but why not just put the whole version of the songs. Or the scrapped album on it.

Liam will just say that ship has sailed. Leave it alone. Those tracks are dead and buried in the same place as No Souvenirs.

Anyway, we'll just wait and see if the whole theory about release dates is true or not.

i donno how anyone can be positive about all this nonsense. maybe its just me but im bored of liam's already as people. (their works that released so far are different of course.) to me all these "soon" and "very soon (you'll get nothing but it sounds good)" means how they don't even give a fuck about their fans, all those people who hopefully watches out for every of their sayings and news. if they woulda care they would've at least confirmed that a milton keynes dvd will release sometime, but so far they didn't even confirmed it to be true. annoying cunts they can be.

p.s.: now tell me "then dont listen them" or tell me "moaners must die" and all those stuff. i believe any sane man woulda agree with the above.

A sane man would agree with what you said ?

How dare you talk like that

C'mon man are you serious with ... they don't give a fuck about the fans ?

Because they fucking do !

Milton Keynes is the perfect example.

Their whole career is a fucking chess game wich you can't stand watching but you love every single move in the game , baby.

I've been involved in music all my life - and i've never seen a band that gives soo much care and love to fans as The Prodigy do. on touring alone they out-do most bands. Nothing more annoying then people that moan all the time - patience is someting you just have to deal with if your a longtime Prodigy fan.

Belive me i understand your frustration but to slag the boys down is a bit much!

They take us very seriously and have always done so! You dont get 20 years down the line with the same fan base if you are always mugging them off! I happen to appreciate them taking their time to do stuff whether its an album, single, remix, gig or dvd / bluray as i know, even though it frustrates the hell out of me, that they want it to be right for the both of us.

I belive its just a matter of polishing the finished article to the way they want it done and how they feel we would like it done also! As i posted earlier on this thread, i think its going to be an IMD tour doc so they may well have had to wait for the India gigs to finish as they want them included in the final product. Plus letting the dust settle and letting the anticipation die down may also be a key factor!

Linkin Park tops them. LP Underground releases cds every year, every album gets a 'behind the recordings'. They have some good live recordings + videos, a live cd, they do their own artwork and direct their own videos, they released an iphone game, they did music for movies, have a lot of sideprojects (Chester's own band, Fort Minor). Mr Hahn does his own little movies, they tour their asses off, do touring videos, they blog/update/talk to fans, have cameos in movies , do collaborations that actually get released , made a remix album of their own debut album.

Don't mind if you hate Linkin Park, but you'd probably WISH Prodigy did THAT much for the fans, in 14 years time. Prodigy still does one epic job, but not much work besides the music itself.
