who has been to a gig at the brixton 02

i will be coming in april to see unkle and would like to record the gig...i want to see if anyone can give me some info on the security and thorough they are from past experiences

Yeah, I saw The Prodigy there, got to the front row with Stuie, filmed the second half of the show no problem, even with one of those security guards standing directly infront of me without even caring. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I got one advice: dont go to the girls bathroom by mistake. Your arm and shoulder will suffer for it.

What if you go there on purpose?

I went to Brixton for Massive Attack about a year ago and they stored away my budget camcorder until after the gig. Quite odd really, considering how so many digital cameras and other devices would have been let in and have better quality, but there you go. If you're taking a camcorder which really looks like a camcorder, deciding not to take it might be the best option.
