The Prodigy have previewed their first feature-length film, World's On Fire, which blasts onto cinemas screens across the country tonight.
Recorded at the band's Warrior's Dance Festival at the Milton Keynes Bowl, the flick documents The Prodigy's biggest live show to date and features 65,000 ravers enjoying a euphoric set.
After a short film of the Essex group's Invaders Must Die tour in Brazil, the 84-minute piece begins in an eerie, deserted Milton Keynes and with a visit to the city’s tourism office to speak to general manager, Jackie Inskipp.
Inskipp talks up activities in Milton Keynes – tea dances, life drawing, garden exhibitions – but we all know something a little more mind-blowing is just around the corner…
What hits you is 17 bone-shaking live tracks in 5.1 surround sound, in what must be one of the most intense visual experiences you will ever have in a cinema.
There are huge anthems, massive mosh-pits, spectacular pyrotechnics, countless crowd ejections and bucket loads of sweat throughout, as The Prodigy prove why they are one of the best live acts on the planet.
It may melt your eyes, it may shatter your ear drums, but for fans is it absolutely unmissable.

The film does not contain World's On Fire, Poison, Mindfields, Diesel Power, No Good and Charly. I hope that these songs will appear on the DVD

just came back from the palace at liege nice evening and nice film but not in 5.1 and not enough loud, cool to see spitfire and mescaline (studio version with live footage I think) at Brazil and the "known from us" video of paul running after keith in the backstage at the end of the credits, lots of people drunk and young in the theater even some of them smoke w**ds inside ahahahaha prodigy people fuck the law.... really happy when WE and EITP was played, now we have to wait for the release in DVD with some bonus footage and all the songs, you can see when you watch the film that some songs are cut... good night to all
prodigy forever
