The only pain in the arse is the hours. 06:30-14:30 this week, next week is 14:30-22:30.
At least I get a decent lie in every other week.
I feel your pain every week Jet, i do almost the exact same hours in a very similar job, I'm a warehouse supervisor in a pharmaceutical distributors. Its a very demanding job, too demanding at times but fuck it, decent wage, good prospects and i get the odd freebie here and there!

I'll graduate from my course in Visual communication and Digital media this may, a modern day graphic designer I guess. I've been working in a shitty supermarket for the last 5 years to keep the beer money coming in!
I'm quite happy with the look of my portfolio and I've managed to save a bit of cash between my job and student loan. So the plan is to get out there and do some traveling, hopefully some paid internships in Europe somewhere. I've already applied for a couple in Berlin and Amsterdam, but my portfolio isn't finished yet so I'm being realistic!
Ideally then just keep on learning after this year. Even after 4 years I still feel like I know fuck all about the industry and I don't want to end up in some shitty job that has me churning out uncreative bullshit.

I used to be an electrician but at the moment I have no job and due to my long-time illness, I probably need to re-educate myself.

ET we have to meet up for some summertime drinks. The weather this week has been too good to waste sitting in work. Do you still have my number?
