Was it only in cinema or lots of stuff is clearly our of sync? EitP mix was really good, but I didn't enjoy Weather Experience that much, high tones were too loud all the time and that was especially audible during WE. I hope it was just the cinema, otherwise it won't be good live recording...

Well that was a once in a lifetime experience! World's on Fire in Amsterdam turned into a proper rave tonight! I think about 40% of the people there were dancing at the front for most of the gig. Moshpits, crowdsurfing and sitdown during SMBU Amsterdam had it all! I watched the first two tracks from my seat as I wanted to see a bit of the concert and then joined the people at the front, didn't see much of the concert once I was there
But we also had crappy sound, volume was way to low during the whole movie, for example you could even hardly hear what they were saying during the brasil part. During Firestarter I spoke to somebody from the cinema and he said they were trying to get the volume up but the low volume could be from the movie itself.
Highlights for me were the party at the front and Mescaline, damn that track rocked!

i am sure it was just the theatre...i feel confident that liam would not release this if it were not mixed correctly

It was nice yesterday in Amsterdam. Was setting next to Agent_Orange and Stasz and apart from the little Brazil part I haven't seen much of the film. Just danced my ass off the whole time. Me and my girlfriend made some cool pictures with our camera. Will upload 'm soon.

am i the only one who founded new love for Black Smoke when it was dropped during credits?
my cinema was almost packed 100+ people and there was only six of us dancing at the front. everyone was sitting and it was somehow strange/ funny to look back and see all of 'em just sitting there with their popcorn when your going completely nuts. i even saw a guy who came with his parents.. they probably expected to see a documentary about the band.
my whole body hurts from yesterday. the only bad thing about this event for me was it's length.

I was at the screening in The Hague, madness - people jumping up and down the cinema, when Smack My Bitch Up hit the place the moshing started. It was touching, what can I say, never seen this kind of crowd behavior

Ahh man, it was fucking cool!
I missed the first 20+ minutes of the gig, cause I was bitching to the people from the operator room about the volume. After the movie in the theatre below ended, they did increase the volume. At that point I was dancing like a mad motherfucker myself! Please, make sure your girlfriend uploads the pics/videos, I'm curious about the people dancing!
Nice to have met you again dude, was nice to have a little dinner at Burger King afterwards! Shame that you didn't make it home at night...
I actually have seen about 10 minutes of the whole movie. I dunno if that's a good thing. It probably is...

We were in Milton and we thought that WE was indeed to loud/distorted @ the Gig, at least in the Front Pit.

as myself, the movie was worth watching it. we is incredibly awesome, a proper studio version of it would be nice to release. but in fact the movie also had weak points. i think it was a bit annoying to hear so clearly that it was remastered in a studio, the cuts were from time to time very weak especially in smbu at the "get down low" part. i would have been happier to see it from some nicer angles. spirit of burgar recording was great in this case because it was shot from the crowd, but roskilde festival video is also kind of good. wof scene of this was terrible.
i felt awfully sorry not to hear the cut tracks especially diesel power, i love that.
the movie began with spitfire/mescaline and i found that to be pretty shit. spitfire was cut to shit and was totally unenjoyable. and what i hoped for was a proper quality mescaline video and what i got was shit due to the fact that mescaline was not the live version but the simple track.
as for black smoke during credits, ive read that some ppl here said they got in love with that during the movie credits. i always loved that track and as a matter of fact i was fucking glad they chose that as the track for the credits.
was funny to first hear colours in proper quality. i always wanted to hear it finally cos the recordings i heard before were all crowd recorded stuffs. i donno if it was a different version, or was totally remastered or is it just that it was not lower quality but i didnt like it
all in all, it was good and i will buy the cd/dvd set, and i still hope the dvd will contain the cut tracks. at least diesel power please!
