Hmm definitely a different source anyway, the version I have is 59:41 in length and is 3.47gb.

If some kind soul who is interested in this is willing to upload Phoenix Festival 1996 from the best available source (Japanese broadcast i believe), so that I don't have to pay money for it then I will happily upload this. I really don't want to pay for it as it pisses me off but i really want it so the obvious thing to do is offer rare for rare. I don't mind either trading links via pm if a trader wants to trade it privately, trade via post of both upload public on the forum so that everyone gets both of them.

I had received some DVD bootlegs which are already circulated there but in lossy format (not DVD). How can I proof that is real DVD (not transcode from AVI or XVID)?

you can compare 2 identical frames from an avi source and your dvd source.
if the dvd one has more detail it's from a different source than the avi one

you can check the same frames using virtualdubmod, pretty easy to do so

I want to get Phoenix 96 first before I upload the Greece gig mate. I am probably just gonna end up buying it by the looks of it since for some reason people are so unwilling to upload/trade it.
