The album will be more FTOL-influenced and have dubsteppa innit :)....Sinista tracks coming up, rework of Osaka Fill, Little Goblin and Ded Ken coming up, not to mention Heatwave Hurricane - mix it all up in a Soulfly and Psycho Realm beat smoke :) The Ballad Of The Green Berets - sample coming out in a 60's kinda track called Airbourne Ballad :)

Dubstep is dying on its arse and there in no way on earth Liam will follow a trend no matter how new or old. As i have already stated Liam is an innovater not a copycat!

Damm teeny boppers have no idea. Dubstep! My arse :lol:

still hope for tracks like "narayan", "3 kilos" , "Omen reprise" ... something very melodic relaxing ... :roll:

And a remix of Ghostbusters Theme by RayParker Jr. in prodigy style

Along with Flashcracker's idea, a nice breakdown album wouldn't be out of place right now. Kinda like Royksopp's Senior album.

I know it'd never happen since Howlett prefers to write primarily for live performance, but he's proven he's more than capable with the Weather Experience remix, Omen Reprise etc.

Also I would like to see a complete Reworked album of old tracks, kind of Liam Remix 20xx Album version - I think that would be a good idea, cos as far as I know, no artist worldwide has this .... only remastered things with extras, but not exlusive new versions of old classics.... :roll:

The new "Weather Experience" is a good way, the whole album concept could be, like also the new Break And Enter ....

THE PRODIGY EXPERIENCE - RE-CHEWED AND SPAT OUT 20XX MIXES

something like that ....

Disagree with you there man.

Those tracks should be left where they are in my opinion. Re-worked versions for the live shows are fine, but I see no reason why studio version should be released.

Why re-create old songs? You say no artists world wide have this? There's probably a good reason for that. Move forward, create new music, innovate and don't look back, which is what Liam does... For the most part.

Yeah - totally agree with your argument and I know Liam always wants to slap us all in the face with new individual material so we say WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT GREAT, but see these "re-releases" as a bonus for us fans and not like an album with a serious marketing background that means "A NEW PRODIGY ALBUM" .... I just see it as a bonus for us fans ....

... and I think no one wants to say "Forget all the old ´92, ´94 versions, we now have an updated studio version" etc. etc. .... the original versions really should be left were they are ... i.e. I prefer "Break And Enter" original Jilted Version, not the new one, but this is also a great track.

I mean, look at movies i.e. .... there are so many reproductions of movies out there and no one ask if it has a reason to do an "updated" version ... people still enjoy them or they hate them and say "original was better" .... why not in music ?

A lot of people want released studio material of old tracks i.e. like "Trigger" or "Heatwave" or the original 1st appeared versions we know i.e. "Mescaline/Unstoppable" or "World´s On Fire 1st versions" .... those tracks we all have in more or less good quality from live recordings, but not the studio ones .... so, why not ask for studio versions from re-worked old classics ? In my opinion I cannot see the difference, if you asked for a never released before track or a never released before updated version of a tune....

I must admit, primary it sounds like I´m a moaner and not happy with that what we get from Liam, but this is the total opposite of it.

I´m totally happy with that what we got from Prodigy and I´m grateful for everything we got. It´s just the fact I look up to Prodigy and I also show big respect to them, but to know, there´s material outside, sometimes only discussed in theory, sometimes really released but only live once, twice, more times, ... sometimes re-worked by Liam himself and a lot of people say "Yes" and a lot of people say "No" to it ...

I mean, maybe you understand ... to hear these "exclusive rarities" and react like "That was so fucking great, I really want Liam make a studio version of it ...." ... that´s not moanin, it´s just a confirmation to say "Yeah, the Prodigy can do it, they are all talented, we want more of it, big respect to them ...."

... I think that´s also the reason a lot of fans reproduce these exklusive versions at home .... they´re not stealin, they show respect to prodigy by doin´ these recreations .... but with a small kind of criticism and/or utopian background with that question "Why the prodigy never released that one, it´s so great !"

And I think, to recreate old tunes, put something new in it here and there also can be innovative .....

An album of recreated tracks goes against The Prodigy ethos, then again I wouldn't say no, but it wouldn't feel right. I'm happy with the way Liam's released Voodoo Beats, Back 2 Skool, Break & Enter 05, Voodoo People 05, Mescaline, Razor. It's been done in a way that satisfies us but doesn't compromise what they're about. If only Liam would release some of the many others we want. Perhaps one day...

All i want is an agressive album,with heavy bass (SPITFIRE,BGAT or SMBU style).
I dont want songs with bass like colours,hotride and omen.

btw...on wikipedia i saw this:

(copy pasted)

Studio albums

* Experience (1992)
* Music for the Jilted Generation (1994)
* The Fat of the Land (1997)
*Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned (2004)
* Invaders Must Die (2009)
* Monster (2011) <---------- :shock:

Is this really the title of the new album?
Is it coming out this year? That would be amazing!

I have been offline 4 some time,sorry if im wrong or if its old news.
