maybe kind of cheating ... I dunno if this is possible now, but it was possible in the past .... it happened in Germany 2 years ago, someone was happy selling his motor-cycle for a very high price he never expected, but in the last 10 seconds of the auction the price goes down again and the seller was shocked and the price was very poor for it ....

i.e. a netbook has a regular market value of 1000 €

the way the cheater works is havin 3 ebay accounts.

- 1st bid is the price he only wants to pay for that article finally - i.e. 300 €

- 2nd bid is a very over exaggerated price for this item - the 2nd bid the cheater does with a 2nd acount name i.e. 1500 €
... you see what happens, no more person will bid now, cos you can purchase the netbook for 1000 € everywhere

- 3rd bid is one euro over the second bid - here 1501 € with a 3rd ebay account

less seconds before the auction ends the cheater cancelled the bid of 1501 € and 1500 € .... finally the price falls down to 300 € again and the cheater got this netbook value 1000 € for only 300 €

This is not a tip from me cheating at ebay, it happened sometimes and i dunno if this is possible now worldwide ....

Getting 500 € and more for one CD is great - good luck to the seller !

What I was trying to get at was the seller who had the top bid (£310) asked smitty if he could cancel his bids, smitty said no, so £310 guy makes fake ebay account and tops his top figure thus letting him off of his obligation. The £510 never gets paid and £510 bidder disappears forever so item goes to the next genuine bid which by my reckoning is the £255.....Confused.? Yeah me too :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

What is wrong with some people on here :?:

THE £510 BID IS FAKE

It didn't go £320, £330 or anything, straight to £510.

Wake the f##k up !!

As Maxim would prolly shout

Good luck with whoever is genuine anyway Smitty
