fuck man
Pias / sony plant that burned down in enfield was a major distro for dance music. Loads of dance/ electronic labels directly wiped out over this. Fucking stupid dickheads!
List of UK labels affected ( all the labels stock was in that building, now rubble)

6000 police on the streets last night, 16000 tonight... but will they actually do anything tonight if it kicks off again? or will they just stand there like the last couple of nights and charge every so often, waste of time having that many cops on duty if their hands are tied! the fuckers out there wont give a shit about the number of cops on duty if they are going to just stand there!
Sorry to hear about your work place going up Jetsonik

Thanks guys. Jugo's right, we had something in the region of 2 million units of stock for PIAS and many other smaller labels entire stock. Pretty much everything on LP, CD and DVD as well as PS3 and XBox that was due to be released next week is also gone. Went in this morning just on the offchance that some of the managers would be there, but the police had cordened off the entire area and only a couple of people who hadn't seen the news had turned up. This is what the fire brigade had to deal with:

There is literally nothing left. Looks like it's still burning right now, I can see the smoke from my house 2 miles away.
So, thanks to the fuckwittery of 20 lowlife arseholes, me and about 500 other people now have no job.
Fucking burn in hell you c*nts.

can't believe it. It hard to understand it.
It's really bad to hear people from this forum are directly affected by this madness. I'm sorry to hear Jets.

oh boy... so all these labels had ALL their stock in ONE place?
and ALL of them are gone?
it's kinda weird, isn't it?
I wonder if we'll have more "Spitfire" stock syndromes with more releases now on eBay...
Sorry to hear about your job jet, hope everything gets settled soon!
