haha you guys crack me up.

all I can think is that Liam will finally put at least one Dub track on it. I mean, with all the reworks and new jams/links they did with Dub elements, and the explosion of Dubstep, I have to think they'd do it up.

Fuck dubstep... is everyone going to fuck?! I mean... dubstep, a subgenre... and you actually want Prodigy to sound like it. So far, the dubstep remixes are horrible for me... so fucking boring sounding.

Seriously, guys... That's just bullshit. Really. Honestly. Why would Prodigy be making dubstep, stereotypically, boring, slow, too much same shit. It's like Drum&Bass of these days.

Meh. Seriously guys. I'm REALLY confused. Why?

Don't you all want something different?

Just shut the fuck up for one second, dubstep is really really fresh ( Listen to excision shambala mixes) how the hell can you think this is boring?

You either have to despise dubstep and dnb. or you are retarded

Seriously orange, the prodigy making a dubstep influenced track would be the fucking bomb.

haha, you just made a fool of yourself. dubstep is already a dead territory, except for this metal-step (skrillex etc..), which is just a competition for the "most evil" drop (nobody educated gives a fuck), every name-worthy artist from the dubstep field already (and i mean fuckn 20months ago) shifted to post-dubstep/glitch/juke/autonomic/future garage whatever area.

dubstep is already dead, watch how they rape corpse for last bits of money, but you prolly didnt notice being stuck on prodge stuff all the time. lol.

edit: excision shambala mixes, 2008? fresh?

I'll have to be honest with you. Some dubstep is quite good but most times its just the same shit over and over again. Dubstep has this fucked up delay spread throughout the genre that basically makes me vomit. Its like you're just about to dance to it but then you suddenly change your mind. You stop before you go anywhere. Its amazing it lasted as much as it did.

But the second part of dubstep, the so called chilled IDMish dubstep is definitely a way to go, it's not dead as all the wobbing "pop dubstep" tunes. It's different and IS the actual dubstep since the beginnning BEFORE all these Skrillexes took over. I mean artists like Phaeleh, Swarms or Burial, that's the way dubstep should continue develop and not all these artists make everyone vomit now....

And I still think Liam will have some influences of it on the new album since it has become such a big thing in the electronica scene that there's almost no space anymore to anything but dubstep. It made most of the ambientish IDM sound too minimal and boring and there are no artists playing that good anymore, thus noone to get influenced from. I mean, you can't tell me Justice is "pure and good" electronica after have listened to some proper dubstep bass?.....And I don't think rest of the electronica scene will survive with the rests like Apparat and Modeselektor (these two are about to release the new albums but I don't expect much out of it....)

Sorry, a bit off-topic but I really don't like when people mix ALL of dubstep as using that term to anything bassy and forgetting Phaeleh, Swarms and suches like Burial which DON'T sound like most of this crappish thing now called "pop dubstep" by me personally....

Liam should sample some proper hiphop drums as he did with Narayan and Smack My Bitch Up and keep up the real Prodigy sound regardless of anything really....

Burial, for example, really is an entirely different story. He reminds me of Liam because he puts so much effort into what he does. I suppose, anyway.

And I agree with you on the hip hop drums. The new album could use a good hip hop treatment. Sadly, the tracks from IMD sound a bit "scattered" when compared to his earlier work. I'm one of those people that actually really liked AONO and still think it was ahead of its time.

So, a blend of AONO mixed with some actual phatness and really clever arrangements would do the trick for me. Oh, and no static beats, I like shit that flows.

It's quiet, too quiet... which is completely fine with me! I'm guessing Liam likes the feeling of working in the dark, working on something epic.. *AGAIN*. And just like with Spitfire or Invaders Must Die, go BOOOOOM out of the blue. 8-)

Or maybe he has writers block again, full high on chocolate and going 'naaaah'. We never know.
I am really curious what the startng point for the next album will be. He usually is going in circles. Till he finds another warriors dance, firestarter or spitfire tune that leads the way

Pretty different tunes. WD is more like experience while no good is a dance tune.
But...he did not like no good in 2002 and that has been quite some time. since he did play it live from then I guess he changed his mind, as usual :)
