it's just another social network site to add to the list.

Sure...
FB Pros:
-Everybody's there.
-Everybody's there.
-Everybody's there.
FB Cons:
-Interface and news feed sucks.
-Privacy is shithouse
-Keep changing things without your approval
-Image viewing has changed to a painfully slow interface
-Intrusive chat window
-Irrelevant shit flooding your page
-ads, pointless suggestions and lists
-The new news feed now occupies the top of your page with more irrelevant bullshit
G+ Pros:
-Simple, Clean interface
-Integrates nicely with your google homepage
-See what you want, when you want
-Select who to share your posts with
-Minimal ads, if any
G+ Cons:
-Still in it's infancy
-Some features are still rather cumbersome
-Only 5% of fb users have jumped ship so far, which means...
-Hardly anybody's there yet

I agree with everything Aquila just said, we can't judge G+ until it has a lot more users and a bit more functionality but the idea is great.
Facebook will have a lot more features in the pipeline such as a much more intergrated music sharing system and are looking to tie in with movie streaming sites so Facebook will be literally the only website you need for a casual internet user.
The FB update is a load of wank, it's very sluggish regarding photos and the live stream is a bit too intrusive. However Facebook is going to be very very hard to displace as the no.1 social network.

Yep. Young internet geeks are easy to convince to change, but it's all the mummies and daddies and grannies and grandads who will keep fb #1.
