This makes it sound like the release will be soon? Surely not, unless I accidentally fell asleep in a cryogenic freezer last night. What year is this again? ...

The fans on the east coast that want a NYC gig or some east coast shows are most definitely not newbies like the lame crowds at the Linkin Park gigs. And all 3 shows I saw them at were in nice intimate size gigs. All their fans come form the surrounding states to support them and rock out. Would be so awesome for us to hear the new shit first for a change. And they sure as hell need to do a real proper US tour not 3-6 dates like they usually do.

I'm sorry. I was thinking of that same Linkin Park crowd. Plus, yeah they could use more dates in USA. I just think of Prodigy starting underground at home base, and then expand to the rest of the world at the release/tour.

I saw them at Nokia for Their Law Tour and Roseland for IMD in NYC. Both shows, the crowds were rocking out good and proper. As a matter of fact, I can remember Liam stating somewhere that the NYC show changed his opinion of the US crowd and he wanted to make sure to return again. My sister's first Prodigy show was Roseland. She is more into stuff like NIN and Marilyn Manson and considers the Roseland show one of the most intense crowds she was ever in. The states deserve a good and proper US Tour. I wanna see them headlining at the Garden. That would be EPIC.
American Prodigy fans know how to rock proper...
I just cant say the same for lame Linkin Park fans.

good to hear that the Prodge are going to focus on the USA. either way, can't wait for the new jams... i believe the boys will do some initial UK shows to hash out their new album live. Than the first huge tour will be of america. I guess I better start saving up now!

I could tell about the same, from my Prodigy experience in Toronto 2009. The only other artist that, in my own experience, was about as intense is Rusko. His last gig I went to, in april, I left before the end because I was too thirsty+sweaty I couldn't stay there any longer.
I wouldn't say the Montreal LP fans were that bad. Well they were doing OK for LP itself, but they were lame for DIOYY and Pendulum (though I could understand they didn't know these bands).

Quote: Cooking Vinyl Records is shaping up for a major assault on the US next year after signing American-friendly The Cranberries and readying several other big albums to help raise the label’s profile in the world’s biggest music market. Cooking’s owner and managing director Martin Goldschmidt has already had success in the States, but conceded that a release schedule that included the first album from The Cranberries in a decade – alongside new albums from US radio favourites The Cult, The Prodigy and Marilyn Manson – who Cooking signed last year – represented a major step up for the Acton-based indie. Goldschmidt will also turn to other Cooking signings The Cult, Manson, The Prodigy and former Pixies frontman Frank Black’s new outfit Grand Duchy to help push its US agenda. http://www.musicweek.com/story.asp?sect ... 046995&c=1

MFTJG + IMD.. holy shit, gives me orgasms before it's even been released yet. the boys releasing a video of themselves talking about the album is a good thing. let's hope it won't take 5 years now.
