God, that breakdown starting at 3:38 sounds so DARK and mad, love it.

EDIT: I seem to be the only one digging AWOL here

Wow, people get really touchy with this whole Prodigy/dubstep thing...
You'd think a family member wobbled their privates when they were young or something to the style.

Calm down!

People being angry of dubstep being so mainstream remind of when Liam said folks dropped playing One Love after the white label was revealed to be a Prodge track and underground folks didnt wanna be associated with such a mainstream group. Kinda sad.
i dont mind liam dipping in different genres.but i am dissapointed in the dubstep madness that took over this forum. there's been a lot of ,,i wish liam would do dubstep tracks,or even a dubstep album''. and i find it annoying . Prodigy was always a band that did things their own way.they created their own thing and consistently refused to do the thing that was popular to do. and now you wish for them to adopt this popular genre.fuck that, they will just become sellouts if they do this. the old geezers who adopt todays popular sounds just to stay in the limelight a few more years.enough with the dubstep wishful thinking.prodge is prodge, they're unique and they should stay that way.

oh and when i crticize the presence of dubstep in the forum,i mean only in the next album and how it should sound topics.not in the general forum where people upload or taalk about dubstep artists

Hi kkikx74 !
When Girls/Memphis Bells was released, I thought there would be an "Experience" atmosphere in the album, but I was mistaken. I think the first 4 albums are very different, that's why I think about a tetralogy. But all depends on what Howlett's going to do...
I do not know about the interview, interesting ..

Great new Tracks !! Bring the noise is really cool. Reminds me old school tracks, 2002 era too... with sample & breakbeat, and not those cheesy 8bit keyboards riffs from Space Invaders (IMD).
And actually, I'm a bit more affraid about the " we love skrillex" than the "we put woobles" fact. Don't give a fuck about what is dubstep or no...but Skrillex, seriously...

@Pinhead

I hear ya and respect that

Somestimes people can go a little bit overboard. Like when I say, I hope Prodigy do some dubstep inspired tracks, Im not saying make a Skrillex/Brostep replica or anything... I mean more like how Liam takes influences in ska, punk and hip hop and totally flip it on its head and make it that signature Prodigy style. Im more going on about the bass aspect. I wanna hear Liam go back to that crazy rumbling bass (Breathe, Charly, Mindfields, etc) and destroy woofers with that shit. I dont expect Prodigy to straight up do a dubstep track at all. I think dubstep kinda brought back that hip hop groove in electronic music and that was something that was missing on IMD. Hell, I can hear a a track like Mindfields being played alongside dubstep tracks. I want something dark, heavy, and with a groove. And Im pleasantly surprised by these 2 new tracks. So when I say take influence from dubstep, I mean by its darkness and aggressiveness. Not straight up copycatting. Liam always said, dont forget the bass and thats what I want in the new album. I want my woofers rattling. I want big phat beats. I think thats the misunderstanding going on here.

thanks for that. For so many years I've been wondering what kind of music Prodigy was.......

Don't take things so literal, I think it's safe to say that Liam's music isn't bound by genres and styles. That's all that I meant, and I can't speak for Jericho-X, but I'm assuming that's where he was coming from too.

Back on topic - Looking forward to more new stuff, and hopefully some better recordings!!

I see this 'Bring The Noise' thing more as a fill than a proper song. Maybe in the future though.
