Haven't done much photography lately, but I managed to shoot this guy this afternoon:

Incidentally, Cairns is having a total solar eclipse this Wednesday so I'll be attempting to take photos of that.

Canon 7D with a few different lenses. The bird was taken with a 300mm Tamron.

OK managed to snap the eclipse with great success. You'll have to excuse the watermarks though, as I'm commissioning prints of these...

Only on the 1st partial eclipse shot. I actually made the filter out of some of those $5 eclipse viewing glasses in supermarkets.
