I was in a d&b joint lately and heard a banging track.
it sounded like waaaaaaaah (one bar) then waaaaaaah (one bar, three tones up in a steady glissando) then waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah (one bar in third) then waaaaaaaaaaaah (one bar, three tones down again in a steady glissando)... four-bar-pattern: keynote, glissando to the third, third, glissando to keynote
played with a standard rough bass synth
that's it, makes the track quite unique, hope it rings someone's bell
