Last Sunday (3/18), friend/co-worker/fellow musician Velapene Screen (www.myspace.com/velapene) asked me to do a live set for his open mic event he holds at the Velvet Lounge in East Setauket, New York. the night went awesome. we had a good crowd, good vibe, good times.

i did a 15 minute set that included:
-wake up, it's doomsday
-hip hop beats (interlude)
-i will follow you
-wobble
-blast radius beats (interlude)
-start rockin'

we had such a good time that i was asked to come back again, which i will be this Sunday (3/25). Kid Chemical (www.myspace.com/kidchemical) also came by and did at a little set. he will also be returning. it was a nice eclectic mix of music.

i played once again at the Velvet Lounge in East Setauket, New York and it was awesome. i got to play with some wicked acts, including Velapene Screen, Kid Chemical, How Town, and Kid Sputnik. we had a blast. the vibe was great. the night started off half packed, but soon the place was full.

it was a good night. i will be playing again next Sunday. got a set in the workings. should be fun!

i have a friend who is really into filmmaking and i am looking to work with on filming an entire show.

velapene and i are talking about putting together a show at one of the local clubs with the artists whom i mentioned above. we definitely seem to have enough people who would come to pull it off. just looking at the some venues around here.

too bad most of the Brainkiller crew are on the other side of the Atlantic.

yeah man, i stayed in NY. moved in with my girlfriend.

it's working out really good. i met the guy Velapene Screen when he recently got hired at my job. we talked and offered me a chance to play. i'm also talking with a few local DJs out here about doing a full set at one of their gatherings. they throw some crazy, big events out in the tri-state area... DJ Cepheus, DJ Spincycle, and DJ Big Ears. so i'm working on that and another set at the Velvet Lounge on April 15th.
